“I was looking at Kincaid furniture at a local store and thought I would shop around. I sent a note to Hickory Park and got a quick call back from my salesperson Diane Christensen. The price was half of the local store and we were able to do the transaction by email/phone. While they offer delivery, I wanted to pick up my furniture so Diane worked with the warehouse to allow me to pick it up on a Saturday. I cant say enough good things about my experience, we will definitely be back.”

“We picked out a slab of Guanacaste wood from West Penn Hardwoods and Kevin was able to pick it up and finish it for us. He can also pick out the wood for you, if you don't want to rummage through the slabs yourself. Kevin even offered to help attach the mounting anchors, making assembly easier when we got home. Our electric standing desk turned out just how we wanted!”

Her suggestions and communications were terrific and helpful. The furniture delivered today and it's absolutely perfect. The delivery was smooth and professional. Importantly, no damage. Goods made sure the delivery went smoothly. My advice is to be very specific up front about your delivery requirements. When the delivery came, the furniture was very well wrapped and padded. And they had the correct equipment to move things safely. We could not be happier, and I think it strikes a nice balance between beachy and sophisticated.”

“We were in search of a top quality power assisted loveseat and our local preferred furniture dealer pointed us at Reflections In the Hickory Furniture Mart. The sales staff were excellent, low pressure, listened to our poor description of what we had in mind and identified exactly the right piece. Reflections carry a wide selection of quality brands and there were several contenders that caught our interest. We added the ‘white gloves’ delivery and set up service provided by J&L Furniture Services who operate from the Mart. Delivery was ahead of schedule and set up perfect. This was our first trip to the Mart and it won’t be the last. The Himolla (German) loveseat is a great companion to our Ekornes Stressless (Norwegian) recliners. We are very pleased.”

“I am not a huge fan of the Hickory Furniture Mart in general. I think a lot of the stuff is overpriced and average quality... Amish Oak & Cherry on the other hand is top notch! I've actually decided never to go in this store again, at least not until I win the lottery. Everything they have is gorgeous and it looks and feels to be top quality stuff. It's all pretty pricey, but at least you can see why it costs so much. You can see the quality materials and craftsmanship that went into it. One day when I win the lotto I will return and will furnish my whole house with Amish Oak and Cherry.”

“While driving from Charlotte to Raleigh today, I had the pleasure of meeting Matthew at store # 206 in Hickory, N.C. when I stopped in to check out a Queen Bed I had seen online. From the time we entered the store to the time we left Matthew was very professional, friendly, helpful and had great customer service! He greeted us as soon as we walked in even while helping 2 other customers. He showed us the Queen Bed we were in search of and even took the time out to call a closer store to us to see if they had it in stock. He went a step further and measured it for us so that we could see if it would fit in our trunk. And even though we couldn't leave with it, we purchased and will return to pick it up. Matthew thank you for all your help and being such a GREAT employee! I recommend this location to anyone looking for great customer service and furniture at an affordable price!”
