I used this company to move my furniture from Wilmington to Charlotte and had damaged items and missing item. I paid for the extra insurance and was told by Vicky that once I have finished unpacking to put in a claim, which I did. After 2-3 months of working with lisa and giving them all the information they needed, they then send me a denial email saying that I signed the form that my furniture was delivered. I had two large trucks from absolute moving and they told me that because I had the extra insurance that I had extra time to claim missing or damaged property. Just for them to turn around later and deny my claim for signing a form that I had my furniture delivered. Don’t use this company because they are not trustworthy and unprofessional. I plan on taking them to court.

Great first experience with Vickie and the team at Absolute today. From booking the move, move reminder and confirmation two days in advance to the movers calling when they were on their way - exactly on time; we couldn't have asked for more. Our movers were polite, efficient and worked very hard to get the job done. Thanks everyone!

Stay far away from this company. They used to be a good company, not the case now. They broke multiple things and tried to tell me to put some super glue on it. Months later , I found that a rare item was missing from my house. We have searched the house for hours and it is gone. It makes me sick at my stomach to know how much we paid this company, and now this.

Extremely professional and thorough service. Vickie at the front desk was extremely accessible and helpful throughout the whole process. Had a last second move due to circumstances outside our control and Absolute Moving and Storage alleviated a significant amount of stress with reliable moving and storage. Mr. Bailey assisted with both the move out from the home and the later move out of storage and did a fantastic job.

I recently moved from Wilmington, NC to the Philadelphia area and used Absolute Moving and Storage to facilitate the process;It was the 12th time I have moved over the course of my life and the service I received from them was far superior to any of the previous moving companies.Under the best of circumstances moving is a stressful experience, but from delivering the estimate,to packing and loading and finally unloading at my new address, everything was donewith attention to detail.I could not have asked for more from Brian and Charlie.They were fast, efficient and delivered everything in perfect condition, despite some unexpected difficulties.If you are looking for a first rate moving service, I would recommend you give Absolute M&S a call.

Jeremy & Rashawn were wonderful. I don’t know how I would have done this on my own. They were friendly, efficient, and careful. They went above and beyond, and helping with a few extra requests that I had. HIGHLY recommend!

Picked this place because it had all 5 star reviews. I’ve moved a ton because I’m military and I’ve never had this happen before. First I’ll say: This company is extremely professional. Everyone I’ve encountered was friendly and nice. However, the errors they made turned an already stressful situation even more stressful. First, they miscalculated my total and overcharged me $200. After discussing with the front desk, they immediately refunded it - but I didn’t need that added to my todo list. Additionally, they didn’t put my crib nor my bed together correctly. My crib they just completely left a screw off and just didn’t tell me. They pushed the crib up against the corner so that I wouldn’t see. That’s very dangerous. Luckily I noticed that the crib looked slanted and moved it to inspect it. I had to go to the hardware store to get a new screw and reassemble the crib myself. Same thing with my bed except we didn’t notice until we had been sleeping in it for a week.Edited to add, we just realized they also didn’t put together our living room couch correctly either (the couch nobody ever uses because it’s for “show”). When my wife went to sit down on it, it broke in the middle. We’ve had this couch for 4 years with no issues. And not only do they not put it together correctly, they don’t inform you that they lost the part they needed so we can’t even fix it on our own. I shouldn’t have to do a deep dive inspection of every piece of furniture to make sure the work is done correctly. If that’s the case, they should lower their prices.

From my calling and emailing for my quote, to Justice, Dante, and Edgar unloading all of our belongings, they were prompt and professional. They took extreme care to wrap our furniture and wrapped the doorframes of our new home, so as not to scratch anything! They came in and asked where everything was going to go and put it exactly where we had asked! They were all business and very nice! We did not have a single thing broken or scratched! We will definitely call Absolute again and highly recommend this company! Thank you Justice, Dante, and Edgar, it was a pleasure working with you!

We recently moved 26Aug22 and used Absolute Moving. From the first phone call with Vickie to get an estimate until the last piece of furniture was placed in storage, everyone was professional, courteous and a pleasure to work with. Our movers, Kansas and Nick ensured our furniture was wrapped and padded for transport and storage. They did an excellent job configuring all our furniture and boxes to fit in our storage units. Our experience was nothing but positive. We will be using them again on our final move!

We have used this company many times in the past and will never again.My wife and I could smell the distinct smell of Marijuana being used when the workers were outside. This is most likely why so many of our items were damaged.They destroyed many items from our home including walls, a four thousand dollar elliptical mach, a new portable air conditioner, broke the legs off our freezer, disassembled items and lnever put them back together, and lost screws and bolts. They sent out a company to re-assemble our treadmill that shouldn't have been taken apart and was not designed to. They took apart our tv stand/fireplace and left random parts all over our house. This move was a disaster not to mention they changed us an additional $500 for extra time according to the owner. They dod waste a kot of time standing around talking and doing nothing. Now the tell us that we will only get pennies back since we only had basic insurance coverage. That is the biggest scam of all and we are disputing the charges with the card company. Avoid this company if you care about your stuff and don't want to be overcharged. They charged us 5k to move 1 mile away.
