Charged double their estimate with no authorization.Kristen in the office has a pretty bad attitude.I recommend never using them. There are too many reliable propane companiesAdded: the company response is incorrect. It was a tank owned by SneadsFerry propane (which Holtzman would not have serviced if they were reputable!) Their estimate was for the regulator only. The additional charge was for the copper tubing which was not on the original estimate. If it needed 3 feet of tubing-that should have been included in the estimate.Again- they are not trustworthy and Kristen has no customer service skills. They use “additional parts as needed” on their estimate to gouge unsuspecting customers

Kristin in the office was Amazing. She was knowledgeable and went above and beyond. Our installer Matt was prompt and polite. He checked all our lines and answered every question. Highly recommend Holtzman Propane!

Wanted to get a tank dropped for our camper and called to get an idea of the process and price. Was given an amount of the tank being set, filled, tested and was given the option to have a monitor put on the tank. Now when we call back to try and set it up we are told you have no choice but to have a monitor for an additional $120 a year when we don't need or want one. We're not there but 2 weekends a month so there's no need for the monitor but if we want to go with them we have to get one. Sneads ferry propane here we come.

I decided to switch over to these guys because my local propane company keeps letting me down! I'll take the 20 minute ride to holtzman from now on for the service i received today, everyone had a smile on their face and we're very helpful, friendly and had great personality. I noticed that it was much cheaper to fill up here as well. noone local can beat their price on propane

Just begun our experience with Holtzman Oil. I can't say that it has been smooth. Our sales person is new to the company and was extremely knowledgeable and our installers were efficient ,accommodating and very friendly. Although the office staff has been somewhat difficult to deal with. Even though I have already paid for the complete job, monitor included, I was told I could not have my monitor unless I gave them my personal financial information. This install is for my elderly father and the monitor is a security element for him so he doesn't have to worry about being low on gas if a storm is coming. I feel like the process was misrepresented and no recourse to follow.
