Zero stars if I could. My important mail is missing, says it’s delivered so it’s just floating around somewhere. mail lady always leaves all the boxes wide open when putting/delivering mail inside them… post office does not answer. Get a new mail lady!!

Where should I start?? I live in Holly Ridge. I have informed delivery from USPS that sends emails letting me know, (by scans of the actual piece of mail), which mail is coming, only to never receive the mail at all! 2 weeks ago my Onwasa bill and another important piece of mail were scanned to be delivered. Still never received them. Onwasa confirmed they sent it. My postal worker delivered my heart meds to an address somewhere on Hwy 50 far from my home. The Holly Ridge police showed up at my door with my meds, with the package opened up, to deliver them to me after someone called them to say they were delivered in error to their home, not mine. Thank you HR Police! I have several pieces of missing mail still floating out there that i was informed i would receive. Some contained checks. My car title is still missing after I confirmed with the NCDMV that it was mailed over a year ago. They even confirmed it was mailed to my correct address. I have to pay to get a duplicate! One other thing. It literally takes 9+ days to get a special occasion card to my cousin in Charleston, SC from Holly Ridge every time! Charleston is only 4 hours drive from here!!! Sending a card to my elderly parents in Florida 10 hours drive away? Sometimes takes 12+ days for them to receive. My sister lives in Puerto Rico. She sends me a card and it only takes 4 days to get it. I send her a card or package, it takes 2 or 3 weeks for her to receive it. PR is a US island! Why????? Where is the mail going when it leaves HR?? This is crazy! The only bright side is that most of the time, the workers inside the post office are nice.

First time. Didn't deliver my package due to animal interference ok that's on me. Didn't deliver next day like they said they would.
Second time. Didn't deliver package due to animal interference. WHEN MY DOG WAS INSIDE and I have an isolated driveway. Are they scared of birds? Update. Two days later they still haven't attempted the delivery again. What's the point in paying for fast delivery?

Not the worst post office I've ever been to. When it rains I smell a very musty smell in the building, also the parking lot turns into a small lake during heavy or longer rains. Its deep enough that you can't get out of your car unless you have on rain boots, it goes up above my ankles.
Our regular mail carrier is usually good, but sometimes someone else does the mail on weekends and mixes up our mail with someone on the next street and we have to arrange meet ups to swap.

How can you get away with working 6.5 hours per day and close for 1 hour for lunch (12:00-1:00)? Imagine most people run to the post office at lunch time or after work (they close at 4:00). Only a government run organization can get away this. Maybe we should privatize to better serve the customers.

I had two very important pieces of mail scanned in to Informed Delivery, on the same day. only one was put in my mailbox. It has been over a week now, guess the other piece of mail scanned in on same day is just floating out there somewhere

I'm submitting this here just in case my response isn't revived by the corporation. I will always recommend working with this team who are a professional and personal family who always figure out how they can help and are and extreme please pleasure to work with and more.
Karen Begley (Clerk), Cheryl Sneed (rural Carrier) and Anthony Bongiorno (rural carrier) have bee the most wonderful, professional and kind employees to work with. I have so many great stories of their genuine care. They truly care about individuals in the community they service and responsibilities to me/us and community. I apologise for the late response. I hurt my knee because of a military injury. I would love an opportunity to speak with someone to express my gratitude for each person who has been great and special to work with in such individual ways. They take time to be personable they are expedient and hard workers who are accurate. They made Holly Ridge a home foerme and I am forever grateful. Seeing them bring joy to a place so void of compassion. I look forward to saying hello. They do more than expected. They go above and beyond and they take time in their busy schedule to take care of me and others. They are worthy to be recognised, praised and know that they make a true difference. I thankful for them and I hope that they truly are recognised. They deserve it. Whether it's rain or sunshine their smiles and friendly natural is par excellent and so caring. I know when they're working I'm safe and careful to watch out for children playing and a few of us who exercise. There's so much to say truly. I appreciate them truly. They are the nicest, dedicated and wonderful people who represent your company extremely well. I want ro express my gratitude. Please forgive any grammar errors. It's 4a and I'm using speech to text - Lily

Guy stuffs boxes in the little slot and you can barely get your packages out just to save a trip of dropping it at your house and he just gave 5 packages of mine to the wrong person. USPS should really reflect on their low rating!!!

This is the absolute worst experience with any post Office I have EVER experienced!
Rhonda is extremely rude and disrespectful. She absolutely refuses to deliver our packages and I have filed a formal complaint. I will be fighting this all the way to the top! No tax paying citizen should be treated with such disdain and disrespect. It’s completely unacceptable and it appears it’s a regular, everyday thing for this post office.

I see I'm not the only one that receives undeliverable package notifications and yet my 130 freaking dollars is sitting in never never Land at Amazon. Is this the country anyway? Never been to a post office ever in the 26 States I've been and or lived in that was closed at lunch

Extremely rude, unhelpful, and guess what even after going over everything with them to mail my package, it got returned to my house. Thanks for nothing.

They're always so kind and willing to help so that you get everything done appropriately. I honestly don't understand why they have such a low rating on here. I'm local and have been using this particular post office for years and never once had an issue. Thank y'all for always helping me out!
