I used Rene for fitting my wedding dress. She was very easy to work with. I was nervous taking my wedding dress to get tailored, but but she put me at ease. She has years and years of experience and made me feel comfortable right away. My dress only needed a few small alterations: tightened the sleeves, added cups to the bust, and let out the zipper.

Renee was wonderful to work with on my wedding dress alterations. I needed a hem, a bustle, the waste and hips taken in, straps shortened and cups put in. She did a wonderful job on all of the above and at my last fitting she even took the time to record a how to video on the bustle for my bridesmaids. Can't recommend her enough.Service: Wedding gown alterations

Renee was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was professional, quick, and the work she did was breathtaking. I had a relatively tricky task with my dress to add a panel on the front and she made it look like it was always a part of the dress. I plan on going back to clean my dress and to help me preserve my dress. Highly recommend.Service: Alterations

I cannot say enough good things about working with Just Sew for my wedding dress. They are so personable and highly attentive to detail. The bustle they did for my dress was perfect. They made it easy for whoever would do the bustle by putting numbers on the ties. 10/10 recommend Just Sew Bridal!!

It is hard to put into words the beauty of Renee’s work. She altered my wedding dress and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. She took the time to walk me through everything that needed to be done and explained every step of the process. She took the time to hand-sew the beading back on my dress from the alterations to make sure the details were perfect. She is truly outstanding at her profession. I could not recommend her more.Service: Alterations

Having the ladies alter my wedding dress at this company was one of my best decisions. They were amazing! They are so sweet and knowledgeable. They thought of things I never would have thought of with my dress. It fit me perfectly and when there was one small part off on my final fitting, they decided to fix it while I was there and made it perfect. I would recommend anyone go here. Was a little shocked by the price, but I think that’s because I didn’t realize how much alterations were in general. Definitely worth the cost.

Renee and her team are the best! I had a pretty drastic weight loss over the COVID time period, and her team was able to take my dress in multiple sizes with ease! My dress came out absolutely perfect and I would recommend them any day!Service: Alterations

I bought a dress and asked Rene and her team to pretty much remake it. They took the dress and made exactly what I had pictured in my head. I am so grateful for the hours they spent on it making it perfect. They were very professional and kind! I loved how excited they got about my dress getting to see it come together. I could tell they truly love what they do and I loved working with them! It was an awesome experience and I would recommend them to any bride.Service: Alterations

Renee did an AMAZING job! My wedding dress was around 2 sizes too big and needed a lot of intricate work when sizing down. Due to the pandemic Renee was more than understanding with the change of dates for alterations. The transformation of my dress was incredible and the care Renee and her team took of my dress and I was amazing. 10/10 would recommend! ?Service: Alterations

Renee & her team were excellent to work with! They were very flexible and so kind through all the craziness of COVID rescheduling. The attention to detail was beyond what I expected. My daughter looks so beautiful! I highly recommend them!

Renee is absolutely incredible. I brought my kleinfeld wedding dress to her that I found at an nyc sample sale. The dress was Several sizes too big and a few inches too long. Renee took all the needs off the bust and took the bust in several sizes to ensure it would not fall down. She helped craft the right holds to make sure the dress stayed up. She did incredible work to bring my dream dress to life. It was a pleasure working with her and her assistant.

Renee was amazing! My dress had barely any boning and she added the perfect amount to hold everything up and where it needed to be. She was so friendly and helpful when it came to adding things to my upper area for cleavage. Already told my cousin go straight to her she’s the best!

I purchased my dress from Coastal Knot in December 2019; my dress arrived February 2020. The first appointment I had with Renee was March 11, 2020. At this appointment, Renee explained we would have to take the dress from a size 10 to a size 2 or 4; because of this, it would require pretty extensive alterations. She anticipated I'd need to have at least 2 or 3, if not even 4 appointments. With this in mind, she suggested we pay "by appointment" versus all upfront since she truly didn't know what to expect cost-wise, but estimated it total to just under $1,000. COVID-19 shutdown occurred two days after our first appointment. The next scheduled appointment was to be April 13, 2020. I received contact from Renee's assistant a few days before the second appointment date, letting me know they would have to cancel due to COVID. I let the assistant know we would be moving the wedding date and to just let me know when they would be taking appointments again/we could reconnect when things settled with COVID. Because of the impact COVID was having on my family, we put wedding plans on the back burner and I was not in a rush to coordinate/nor did I hear anything from the assistant again. I heard from Renee for the *first time* since March 11, 2020--two days ago. It was an extremely unpleasant call in which she demanded I pick up my dress immediately and insisted I owed her the full amount (which would be just shy of $1,000). I politely reminded Renee of the alteration plans we agreed on in March 2020; Renee proceeded to challenge my honesty by asking if I had "screenshots" to show proof. Once assuring I did have proof of all this, she did not apologize for being unpleasant or abrasive. (She not once asked, how are you/how did things turn out for getting married/etc.) Instead, she continued to be extremely difficult to work with when coordinating a time for me to pick up my dress; she was insensitive to my new work schedule (explained I started a new job) and insisted it needed to be very soon. When I picked up my dress today, Renee again tried to claim she finished all the alterations & was very, very unpleasant. Here's the thing: 1)On the very unlikely (not to mention impossible) chance she finished the alterations, why wouldn't she have stay engaged with me/kept me updated on the new plans--especially for a wedding dress? 2)If she did in fact complete the alterations by the 5/17/2020 wedding date, why did she wait 8 months to inform me? 3)I'm not a seamstress, but it doesn't seem very considerate or appropriate to "finish" the alterations for something as important as a wedding dress without better communication with the bride--considering my size could fluctuate. Shouldn't the seamstress receive confirmation from the bride before doing further alterations especially considering we are in a pandemic and therefore it has effected our wedding plans? While I realize the impact COVID has had on all of us, it does not give anyone the right to be disrespectful and rude to others. Also, in terms of payment, I just wish I would receive a refund for the $309.23 I paid her at our first appointment 3/11/2020. Since, after all, it's very unlikely she did anything at all--considering we went into lockdown 2 days later. When it comes time for me to wear my dress, I hope whatever Renee "actually" did--isn't far beyond repair. I strongly discourage anyone giving their business to Renee.
