My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting Spazio’s recently and we were beyond impressed with the service and quality of food. We got to talk with chef Paolo afterwards to share how much we enjoyed our experience and he was extremely appreciative. You can tell how passionate he is about this restaurant and it certainly shows in each dish. We certainly will be back!

Fantastic gnocchi with black truffles (seasonal). What a great restaurant for Holly Springs.

Overpriced, mediocre food. At 7:00 and they already run out of lasagna, and appetizers. They charged $7.00 for bread as an appetizer! Just another lame Italian restaurant. I give it another 6 months. Hard to believe anyone gave this place a 5 star rating. Probably friends of the owner.

We dined here for the first time last night and absolutely loved it and will be back regularly. The atmosphere is warm, comforting, and not noisy, even with all tables occupied. The service was friendly and excellent. We were interested in tasting a wine that was only sold by the glass and our waiter opened a bottle anyway. And the food was absolutely delicious. It is truly authentic Italian cuisine with portions that don't leave you hurting. The wine list is small but we found all that we sampled truly quite enjoyable. For those interested in over-sized portions and the excessive use of heavy cream and sugar, along with a raucous atmosphere, this is not the place for you. This is a wonderful place for couples and small groups who wish to enjoy Chef Paolo's sublime creations in a cozy setting with good wines and excellent service, I encourage you to make a reservation and see for yourself. For appetizers, we enjoyed the olives Pane E Olio (homemade focaccia bread & olive oil) and the Insalata (mixed salad). For entrees, we had the lasagna and cacio e pepe. Both were fabulous with the sauce of the cacio e pepe truly delightful. For dessert, I enjoyed the panna cotta and a decaf coffee (which was one of the best cups of coffee that I've had a restaurant in some time.Already looking forward to our next visit.

The food was absolutely delicious! My husband and I greatly enjoyed the ambiance. It was a very intimate space and we had the chance to meet the chef. He was so welcoming. This will definitely be one of our regulars.

The atmosphere and other reviews had us excited to visit! Unfortunately slow service, poor quality food and being out of menu items on a Saturday evening is not what we expected. Ordered Lasagna but they ran out. Substituted a pasta dish which was under cooked and came out tepid temp. Never been in a fine Italian restaurant that did not have fine house wines. I do hope this gets better because we need better options for dining in the area.

My husband and I tried Spazio last night and had a phenomenal experience! Wine, food, service, and atmosphere all are immaculate. We had the Lasagna, Cacio e Pepe, Verdure and an insanely good orange tarte with shortbread crust for dessert. We chatted with chef Paolo afterwards and it was so wonderful to witness how passionate he is about this restaurant and what it’s become. Needless to say, we will be back time and time again!

Authentic Italian flavors, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff! Chef Paolo will cook you some of the best Italian food around the Triangle, hands down.

I had dinner here on two occasions in December. The atmosphere is romantic with nine tables and a fireplace. Chef Paolo greeted us warmly as we walked into the restaurant, and the service was excellent. We ordered appetizers as well as dinner, dessert, and drinks. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend the cache e pepe, pumpkin ravioli, and risotto. Everything about this restaurant is high-quality and absolutely superb. I look forward to trying more dishes on my next visit.

An hour and a half wait at 6:00 on a Friday at a new restaurant? You need to make reservations even though they had empty tables? I'm not buying it.

Far too expensive for very little food. We were very disappointed because many have given the 5 stars. We will never come back. The food was not special either for the prices. Very unhappy..Parking: Was fine.

We found a Gem! Chef Paolo is a world-renowned chef who came to the United States about ten years ago to the RTP area. Paolo's new restaurant in Holly Springs is named Spazio which offers authentic Italian creations and a fantastic wine list to pair with his delicious meals. Spazio is in the Bass Lake shopping area at the corner of Holly Springs Rd and Bass Lake Rd. Spazio is nestled in the corner next to the ale house. The atmosphere is warm, and friendly providing a feeling of eating at Paolo's home!

Excellent food and service. Party of 7 all happy with their meals. Ambiance was nice as well. Will definately be back. Glad an Italian restaurant and Chef of this caliber is in Holly Springs. Not your typical local pizza/restaurant. Looking forward to attending one of their upcoming wine dinners.
