It is funny how I requested to speak with someone multiple times as to why it was even canceled in the first place and was met with no answer. After I leave a negative review about your INN, you have no issue coming back with a response on that. I said all of the things that you mentioned in the beginning of your response. Never denied that you returned my money, just very irritated and disappointed that you canceled and have still not even let me know why!!!!! Lack of responsibility on my part???? You have been paid in full for 9 months!!! You choose to cancel...not me!!!!! You are the business and the one responsible for ensuring that your paying guests are taken care of and in this instance, you failed at that. I received my confirmation emails but didn't receive a cancelation email. I find that very odd. All in all, I believe that you, as the owner of the business, had the Responsibility and the obligation to inform me of why you canceled. You chose not to meet your obligation to your guests and give me an explanation of what happened. This and only this is why I left the review that I did and now everyone else will be able to see that you are still giving no explanation...just telling me that somehow I am in the wrong!!!!

Made reservations a month in advance for 2 rooms/1 night. My first reservation I made a boo boo (it happens). I made the reservation a day earlier than our plans. I immediately cancelled and created a new reservation. This was on their website. The next day I called them and told them what happened and "Jay" stated that he didn't know how all that worked but he would make sure it was reimbursed. They have a strict policy for their cancellations but I was WELL within the timeframe to cancel being it was a cancellation on the same day a month in advance of the stay. 2 days before our trip I looked at my credit card statement and they didn't credit my account. 2 debits on my AMEX for $209.72. Called the day before we were leaving and spoke to the owner Julie H. and she said on her system it appeared we were not charged twice. She was adament and even though I sent her a picture of the charges on my credit card statement, she wasn't going to give me a credit. She and I both decided that it would be best to not stay at all at her property given the negativity so she cancelled my 2nd reservation as well. AMEX has got my back so I'll get a refund but this is no way to run a business especially in Hot Springs. We live an hour away and have been over many times over the years. Stay at the Iron Horse or anywhere else...just not this place.

This was one of my favorite places to stay on a 2+ week long road trip through national parks. The room was super clean, there are great snacks and free water, hot water, very comfortable beds, working AC, and you're right next to a river, a 5 minute walk from the Hot Springs, and around the corner from great food and drinks. Would definitely stay again if I'm back in town.

This was the cutest little spot to stay. Quiet little town. Clean comfortable rooms. Motorcycle friendly & right off of the Rattler 209.

Great little place and great price. Clean and well maintained. Things you maybe looking for that they don’t have are microwave, and iron board. But overall still would come back and stay here.

This is a quaint little inn with 7 units but the best location! It's situated downtown but set back enough from the hustle and bustle. Very clean rooms, patio for all guests to enjoy and the best part is that it sits right along the river! If you want a quiet little place to stay that is along relaxing then this is it. Nice 2 bedroom units and also 1 bedroom units that are smaller. No pool, no wifi, barely cell phone service, no kitchenettes, does have small fridge but it's a fantastic place to really sit back, relax, and enjoy. Will definitely be going back and thank you Jey for all you helped me do to make it our little place of heaven!

Probably one of the worst nights of sleep I’ve gotten in a hotel, ever. There’s a lot that made this place not great though…First is that this is motel style with all doors facing the outside, which is fine, but you are only able to lock the doorknob and they do not have a deadbolt or chain to lock it further, which made me feel very unsafe. The entire room is tile flooring, which just made it feel very cold and gross. Even an area rug for under the bed would do wonders. There’s also two units for temperature control with no instructions on either. We apparently had the wrong unit on for half the night, and it took us waking up sweating in the middle of the night to get the right unit on. An instruction sheet would be super helpful!!The mattress is not very comfortable, and only has a thin quilt for comfort. I really need weight on me for a comfy night of sleep, so always prefer having a comforter available (and most hotels do). They also didn’t have any blackout curtains, which makes a big difference to me in my night of sleep. And the kicker for me is that they don’t have any wifi!!!! This town barely had any cell service and they do not have any wifi for the rooms. If I had paid maybe around $60 bucks for the night, I wouldn’t be complaining nearly as much, but I paid almost $130 for the room and feel that there are some bare minimum things that should have gone with the room to make for a livable stay. I will not be returning.

I booked this place thru booking.com based on the description and pictures. It looked like a quint little place advertised as Mountain View, inner courtyard, outdoor furniture, patio and outdoor dining area. Well, not at all!!! it was a dump and the town was just as bad. all I can say is ....deliverance! I can't even describe it. roofs look like they were caving in, courtyard...NOT couldn't even park, view...NONE I couldn't get out of there fast enough. picture is the "patio, courtyard, outdoor dining"

The place was freezing, we suffered the whole night. In the morning we called and said we could not endure a 2nd night. Then a housekeeper was sent to check out the room. We were told we should have turned on the AIR CONITIONER of all things, to heat the room. The manager would not even consider a refund.Don't book there in cold weather!!!

Stayed there with my partner as part of the AT thru hike. We had to wait for longer than an hour to get the key for the room as it was not at the lock box. The room wasn't clean (we could find pet's hair on the bed) and when we asked about WiFi we were told to get the one from one of the restaurants in town as they don't have WiFi. No laundry facilities either. We didn't think this place was value for money. On a positive note the place is right in the centre of town and the shower was good. The place could do with a bit of tlc.

It is right on the river, you can walk to anywhere in Hot Springs, it was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The downside was it is very minimal for the price. The floors are tile so veryyyy cold, we went down the street to Dollar General and bought some rugs bc there were none. Also the bathroom light was extremely dim. For the price, level of cleanliness and location, it wouldn't hurt to buy a few rugs and curtains that completely covered the windows.

We normally stay at the Magnolia Inn when we come to Hot Springs. However, we were unsuccessful at reaching them, and we found this new place on Bridge Street, so we figured what the hey, let's give them a shot.We stayed a Friday night in late January. I will start with the pros, as there aren't very many. For starters, the price was affordable and reasonable. The management was great with communication. The room was very clean and kept. They provided snacks, a mini fridge, coffee and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and body wash, towels and toilet paper). There's also a tv in room, but no Wi-Fi. Now that the pros have been covered, let's touch on the cons, because it basically goes downhill from here.On the night we stayed, it was 27 degrees outside. Upon entering the room around 4:00 pm, the heater was on and the room was FREEZING. We thought maybe they just turned it on and it would heat up with time? Nope. We huddled under the covers until it was time to go to dinner. By the way, they do NOT provide additional blankets in the room. The floors are concrete with tile overlay. The toilet seat is porcelain. Imagine all of that in 27 degree weather. Yeah. My husband said that the heater was the the equivalent of someone blowing over a light bulb and expecting it to heat a room. After being away for dinner, and an hour long hot tub, we returned around 10:00 pm and the room was still freezing. So we turned the shower on full blast hot and opened the door so the steam could fill the room. That appeared to bring the temperature up a couple degrees, but the bathroom had no ventilation so there was major precipitation dripping down the walls. The shower was TINY! If you need to shave your legs, you best forget that idea. Nowhere to prop your leg except the shower floor, where the water will run down your body and rinse any shaving cream you might've had. And if you try to use the wall as a prop, the shower curtain will assault you in many violating ways. Also, the water initially flooded the bathroom floor as there was nothing but a curtain to stop it. Just an awful design flaw on so many levels. They definitely do not have tankless water heaters as we did run out of hot water before finishing our showers. I should also mention that the bathroom sink has zero counter space for any supplies you may have (makeup, toiletries, etc). When we laid down to finally get some sleep, we noticed a huge gap (with light shining through) all the way around the door. Absolutely zero insulation keeping the cold outside. After freezing our asses off all night, and making several trips to the car to warm up, we woke up stiff and in severe pain. The heater ran constantly, yet it was warmer outside than in the room the next morning.Long story short, this 'might' be a great stay in the summer time. But I HEAVILY recommend you avoid this place at all cost in the winter time. Unless of course you're an Eskimo who prefers the cold. We might be back in the summer to give it a second chance, but even that is debatable.
