This facility/home keeps its doors unlocked during the day and sometimes at night which is extremely unsafe. They do not have any type of electronic key card system that employees would use to get in and out of the various facilities therefore the doors remained unlocked frequently. This facility/home is in a residential neighbourhood where neighbors frequently take walks, walk their dogs, and use the vending machines on campus not to mention the strange car that parks out by the dumpster at night. This isn’t safe for employees and it isn’t safe for clients. This place should employ some type of badge-in system for safety precautions. Keeping the door locked all the time would be a step in the right direction, but I’m sure not every door allows you to see who’s knocking before opening. Posting this as a concerned relative of an employee.

The amount of love and care they facilitate to the members makes it a home not a house.

Employees consistently speed through the neighborhood no matter the time of day, especially one white van. That employee is doing at least 45 down this short street. Because the campus is non smoking, they sit in front of the houses on the street and throw their cigarettes in the yards. I don’t understand how these workers are caregivers and have no respect for the neighborhood this business shares a street with. I’d give it 0 stars if I could. I’ve been here since 1999 and it has gotten exponentially worse over the last 3 years. I’d bring my family member to a different facility because obviously these employees don’t care.Edit..Since the speed bumps were put in a couple weeks ago, most of the employees have slowed down. I appreciate Ms. Mary (sorry, I didn’t get her last name or position) for reaching out to one of my neighbors to help resolve this situation.

I live down the street from Carobell. The employees constantly speed down the road. We live on a one way exit road and it is very slim two cars can barley pass each other. One morning I was walking to the bus stop on the side of the road and almost got hit by a Carobell employer. When I walk up and down the road the cars go flying by me. I fear that one day either me or one of the kids on our road is going to get hit. Are theses the kind of people who you want taking care of your special love ones. They don't even care for another person life. When we asked them to slow down we get told that we are on private property and that we should contact the sheriff's office. I will change my review when Carobell promises to make sure there employees slow down!!!!

My brother lives down the road from this place and when I visit him, I usually park on the street, so I have to watch out for the Carobell van whenever I go to my car. The person/people who drive the van at this place fly down this tiny residential road like bats out of hell. The road is tiny and unmarked and barely big enough for two vehicles. I can't even comprehend why the driver would think it's acceptable to speed down this street or why they are in such a rush. There are families with children and pets and the people who run this facility should care about their van drivers being reckless. They'd really be in a pickle if there was any sort of accident, especially with this being a non-profit.

I live down the street from this facility. The van that transports the patients is driven like a teenager that just got their lisence. No reguard for safety or others around. In the time that I have lived here, the employees fly up and down the road, and have had a liquor bottle thrown out of a car window in front of my house on the street where my children and other neighborhood children play. Sounds like a logical place to work if the only thing you can say when asked to slow down is "your on private property" or told to call the sheriff and not act professional at all. Sheriff enroute. SLOW DOWN!!!!!

This place has the rudest employees who don’t care about the neighborhood they drive though and when confronted they did absolutely nothing about it. Worst people and place that I have ever came across. How can you be a caregiver and have no respect for anyone around. Would highly recommended taking business elsewhere.

I live in the neighborhood with this facility and they are constantly speeding down the road. It's extremely dangerous for children and pets. I'm afraid these maniacs might run me over while I'm checking my mail.

This establishment is by far the worst I have seen as far as employees are concerned we have lived here for a couple years now and I have witnessed so many of there employees flying up and down our very small road that you can barely get two cars down the road at the same time there have been multiple people in the neighborhood who have asked them to slow down we have put signs up asking them to slow down and even went up and asked them in person to slow down when one of their employees flew past our house doing at least 40mph just to be told we were on private property and if we didn't like it to call the sheriff's department we have child and people who play and walk on the road and we shouldn't have to worry about a speeding employee who is in a rush to get to work or to get home if I was anyone considering this establishment to put your special person in I would reconsider because if they aren't worried about other children in the neighborhood I could only imagine how yours would be treated plus I have seen them fly up and down the road in the company van filled with patients from the establishment as well I would never send my loved ones there please do your research.

I used to work there! It’s not all it’s cracked up to be. The staff are over worked, the higher ups are so horrible to their employees. They aren’t even doing good by the residents, they make them get out of bed at the crack of dawn just to make them jump through hoops all day. Mary Butts is pulling the wool over the states eyes so they can get funding! I wish survey would stop in there to inspect when they aren’t expected. I’d love to see that. But carobell knows that they will be there in October!
