I purchased my car here in 2016. I never met the manager & never worked with anyone except a sales lady. Unfortunately I don't remember her name. I had cash in hand, had done the research on the vehicle including a carfax report. I test drove the car for about 45 minutes, took it to Advance auto & made sure there were no codes that had been cleared recently, came back to the dealership, they washed and waxed the car while I paid and signed paperwork and then I left with my car. I am still driving the car today over 80,000 miles later. It has never broken down on me, never needed major repairs & the staff member that I dealt with was excellent. She even called me about 4 weeks later to make sure that everything was still going great with my vechicle. I'm sad to see the other reviews are so negative because I had a wonderful experience here & I honestly came back to the page because I wanted to see if they were still in business. I plan to keep the car I purchased here previously but my husband & I were looking for an suv to take on trips and I was thinking of seeing what they had in their inventory. I hope that new management has helped with the issues that some people had, I guess I got very lucky that I had done my research.

I mean sometimes they can get something that looks nice, but looks like a junkyard and feels risky to even consider purchasing something from here.

If I could rate Granite Motor Co and it's manager Brent negative stars I would. Brent is a pathological liar. Do not do business with him. He will say anything to make a sale and will do nothing to help you if you bought a car with issues he knows about.

Bought a truck five months ago and they had black two by fours painted in between the bed of the truck and the cab. Was in the snow so you couldn't see them upon buying the vehicle. Then they had them hid so well didn't see until the bed of my truck caved in. I got under the truck and found another 2x4 holding the frame up from side to side. Gas won't pump into the car. Check engine light came on. Now he is unwilling to cooperate and work with me. In the state of North Carolina you have to mention everything that's wrong with it, especially if it's unsafe to passengers. Nothing was mentioned except a break I said I would fix. Took my cash money and ran! Tried to call and work it out and he won't. Wants me to use money to get another truck there, trust is gone. He also stated they don't inspect vehicles upon receipt of them FYI!!!!! Dangerous! Pursuing legal action. It's buy as is but there are stipulations that come with that! It's not buy as it to die bc your engine, muffler and frame broke within five months time. Not to mention I have been calling for over a month and they would hang up on me. Finally today I was able to reach him because my wife found his business card. I wish I could post the pictures sent to my lawyer......unbelievable! Please buyer beware!!!!!
