“Wow. I never knew this gem was in my neighborhood. You can tell how passionate they are about art. Not only did I get a canvas wrapped and it turned out amazing, but I was also provided places to go view local artists. Give them a visit. You will not regret it.”
“I love Studio Elie! I moved here from NJ last year where I was taking acrylic classes for years. I am so blessed to have found Elie and his art studio. I attend the Monday night class. There are amazing artists of all levels in the class, we have monthly lessons - we are given free license to be creative AND we have fun! In case you were curious you do not have to be an expert level painter - that is why you take classes; Elie will teach you. He is a very talented artist and patient teacher (and a great person). Elie also offers classes for teens and children!”
“We live in town and I finally walked in for the very first time today. This arts center houses the Van Every/Smith Galleries. I was greeted by Charlotte, a student who was an absolute delight—knowledgeable, welcoming, and incredibly polite.
The Hank Willis Thomas exhibition was on display, and I loved it. I added my email to the mailing list so I can stay informed about upcoming exhibitions and events.
As I wandered around and explored the space, I noticed a lecture hall, seminar rooms, classrooms, and studios for art majors and faculty. The students were friendly and allowed me to have a peek at their art space. The building is beautiful with amazing light, it felt so peaceful. It’s a vibrant, inspiring space, and I look forward to sharing my visit with neighbors and friends.

“Great place to see some local art. We walked through the current exhibit, Home Grown Sprouts. They host different types of art including various mediums. They also offer classes and camps for all ages. Would highly recommend if you want to see some local art or want to get creative and take an art class!”
