Power went out at midnight.Called the outage phone number and was told by a rude lady that it was scheduled maintenance and the power would be turned back on at 3 am. Scheduled maintenance no one was told about for 3 hours with temperatures in the 30s. Disgusting.

This company is an amazing time machine! It takes you straight back to the 90s with their website and even to earlier eras with their service. You cannot open an account online and when you finally do it through the phone you realize there is no auto-pay! So what's the point of an online account then?!It's a joke. Stay away from them if you can. I wish Google had an option for zero stars.

This is literally the worst electric company in the state and probably the world ! Please DO BELIEVE the 1 start that they have ! Please consider doing your research on this scam company before moving to Huntersville ! I wish Huntersville would get rid of them completely and bring in Duke energy !

The absolute worst electric company! I wish that electric wasn't a monopoly and that we had options. This company has ZERO compassion for anyone, heat indices up to 100 today and they shut it off for being 3 days late, are you freaking kidding me!

Cut Power on 7/13 over a $65 bill that was overdue from 6/14 WOW! Not even 30 days... This company is horrible. And it's 90 degrees today.

Out of town for most of January, everything turned off, no lights, no major appliances used, thermostat turned down very low, everything unplugged except fridge and water heater, still got a bill 43% higher than December. Explanation from billing was water heater uses up power and it was cold for a few days.Like it was balmy in December?

The power went out in my Cornelius neighborhood. I called this company's number from their website at 4:13 and a technician was in front of my house withthe power back on by 4:30. Wow! I know all issues aren't that easy to fix, but I was grateful by the efficiency and service.

this company pays someone to drive to your home and shut off your power without any email, text, letter.They could make it simple for customers to set up auto pay…they don’t. Switching to Duke today, what a joke.

Just lost power with no contact that it was going to be turned off. Since I work from home, this greatly caused issues with my job and added so much unneeded stress.
