Excellent service when finding our dog treats & using our Rewards, improvement could be seen in Petco improving its IT system in transactions & approvals, etc. it seems employees are waiting too long for system responses, for example in using several of my $5 rewards, the employee had to enter each one separately, slow system responses are noticeable, your customers are feeling it at times, otherwise great job!

I come here for grooming. I am a pawtree pet pro so I only give my doggie, pawtree food and treats, but the groomers are amazing here. My doggie lives them.

I come here often for my reptile and dog. I haven't had a bad encounter or poor service. This place has excellent employees who care about and know about animals, most of whom seem to have a zoo of animals of their own. 10/10

Went to see about getting a cleaner shrimp and most of the salt water tanks had a lot of brown algae. Looks like one of the sumps was low on water because one of the tanks was getting a lot of bubbles pumped in very noisily. One of the tanks had aptasia growing in it and when I pointed it out, the worker didn't seem to care or even know what it is...fyi, aptasia is very invasive and hard to get rid of and should never be allowed to grow in a tank full of animals and live rock that are going to go into a customers tank. Do not buy any live rock or snails or anything that could have hitchhikers on them! If you buy an animal, I highly suggest you do not out any of their rank water in yours and give the animal a proper quarantine first.

The associate who helped my son and I went above and beyond. He was purchasing his first hamster and she took the time to educate him on how to care for it and even helped us pick out all of the necessities. Super thankful for her!

I had a great experience this afternoon, I was buying cat food and the lady gave me a coupon and I was really appreciative. However its only 4 stars because this location seems understaffed, there are times where’s theres nobody at the front to check me out.

I have been bring my 2 dachshund’s here since 2022 and about to add a 3rd little weenie to their client list! I know my dogs are not saints or angels and the grooming staff always greet us with open arms and treat them like their own! My babies always come out looking their best!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have been a loyal customer of Petco in Huntersville for several years and have never encountered any issues with getting my dog groomed until recently. Unfortunately, I've faced significant trouble at this Petco location.Initially, when I took my dog in for grooming, they informed me that he had fleas, so they couldn't proceed until that was resolved. I understood and took care of the issue. However, before I could schedule another appointment, my dog was hit by a car and had to undergo treatment at the hospital. After recovering from the medication given at the hospital, I attempted to book a grooming appointment. However, the groomer stated that my dog needed clearance from the vet before grooming could proceed. We obtained the vet's clearance, although we couldn't obtain a physical copy of the document.Upon visiting the groomers to schedule an appointment, the manager, Cody, assured me that he had spoken to the vet and my dog was cleared for grooming. He scheduled an appointment for Monday at 9 am. However, on the day of the appointment, they claimed my dog had back pain and could not be groomed. This was puzzling because we had just received clearance from the vet, and Cody had allegedly spoken to the vet. There was no actual issue with my dog, but it felt like I was repeatedly sent away without a valid reason.I strongly believe that I was treated unfairly because of my race. Despite my efforts to comply with their requirements, I was continually turned away without any courtesy calls or prior warnings. During my conversation with the manager, I became upset, and he abruptly stated, "Because this has gone too far, don't bring your pet back here." It seemed evident to me that he had wanted to express this sentiment from the beginning. Frankly, I believe he doesn't want to serve anyone whose skin color doesn't match his skin color.

We had been taking our two Goldendoodles here to be groomed for years but unfortunately the last two times our larger dog has been nicked resulting in two vet visits with a cone and antibiotics. I called and let them know but they refused to cover the outrageous vet bills. We then decided to give them another chance and at the next appointment they refused to honor the “8th free groom” that we had from the app. We will not be going back to this location.

Disappointed. We paid for a 45 minute first private lesson with a dog trainer and got 15 minutes of training. Felt like they were more concerned about selling more private lessons than taking care of the customer. Probably won’t be back.

I tried to call this place for grooming appointment multiple times but unfortunately it seems nobody pick up the phone at grooming salon. Even stopped by and asked for someone help with grooming appointment but couldn’t find anyone at the front desk.
