I will be filing a complaint with the main office. It was the most incredibly unprofessional experience I have ever had. There was an hour left before closing. 3 men were at their booths. The last booth there was a customer. The first booth looked at me and picked up a lane closed sign and placed it while looking at me and carried on a conversation with the center clerk. A lady came in, skipped me and went straight to the middle window and was helped. It took a very long time for the original person to be done and when she was done, two of the employees walked off without addressing me. At that point, I walked out. I have never seen worse customer service in all my life. Completely unprofessional, lazy and childish.

For over one entire year we have been trying to pay our bill for our business PO box. Nobody in the entire place can figure it out! Apparently, the po box expired in 2021 and we were never informed at all, no statement. No letter. Nothing at all. Continued to get mail. When I tried to pay I couldn’t not even in person. Was transferred around to managers- went in person five times to discuss. Still to this day they have zero clue what they are doing. Completely absurd.

Good for the basics (stamping envelopes and collecting your money) but not for real mail challenges. I needed to have my mail forwarded from my place of business in another state to my residence here in Huntersville, NC. Pretty simple, right? The online process does not cover this situation (business to residence) so I stopped by this post office. They do not use the change of address forms any more and had no solution to my situation other than for me to contact every business and individual with my new address. I asked for a complaint/suggestion form. They made me wait over 5 minutes and then told me they could not find a copy of the form to give me. I left with no solution or recourse. They said “sorry“ and “good luck.” It was disappointing that the employees and management at this post office were not more sophisticated, solution oriented, customer sensitive and caring. If they were serious about providing good customer service, one of them would be computer literate enough to get on a computer and print out the form. Or, email or mail it to me. Or tell me where to find it on their website. I plan to go to the website myself when I get home.

I am moving to Huntersville in September and have been calling for 2 days to ask questions about forwarding my mail from my Virginia POB. No one answers the phone. It just rings out. But I appreciate these informative reviews. Sounds pretty bad!!

The postal workers steal at this location. Packages always come up missing. Be aware if you have a P.O. Box. They really have a kleptomaniac working here.

Avoid wasting your time at this horrible managed location. Never have certified stickers or even tape. Drive a few minutes more to the Kannapolis location. Worth it!

Extremely unhelpful, unprofessional and rude. Would not accept my return because THEY didn’t have packing tape…. At the POST OFFICE.. to adhere the return label to the package. Did not offer a the sticky insert that goes on packages as a solution. Avoid this place at all costs, they are useless.

They open at 0900. It’s 0907, the door is locked, there is a line and we can hear the staff in the back. Furthermore, the self serve machine works, but the envelopes are INSIDE the locked area. C’mon! Do BETTER.

I told the manager that my package was being held at the post office and she told me that they just left to deliver my package to my house. I knew that all of my packages were being held at the post office because I was going on vacation, so that would’ve been impossible. She lied to me in order to get me away from her.

I know they get a lot of negative reviews, so wanted to post my positive experience. After being treated extremely rudely at UPS, I took my large envelope here instead. They charged me $1.74 instead of $6.99 that UPS wanted to charge, and I was in and out in less than 2 minutes. The employees were wearing nametags, unlike UPS. Dave was the one who helped me and he was friendly and efficient.

Waited outside for 2 hours and finally saw usps truck approaching. They drove right past the house without slowing down. Then I got a notification that they could not access the delivery location. Lazy driver. Super upset. Will be calling in the morning to file a complaint on that driver

They get a lot of bad press, so here's a positive one (mostly).I have a PO Box at this location. I was looking for a small package that had been delivered a couple of days earlier. There was package and no slip in my box, so I went inside to ask. They were nice and went to look. And then several people were all looking. 10 min later (I wasn't in a particular hurry)... someone found it!1) My package had been put in the wrong box, found by THAT customer, and returned. (That's bad... Attention to detail, people.)2) The desk staff put in some extra effort, didn't just give up, and found my package (medication, in this case, not just a trinket from amazon). I appreciate that they did that.
