Been a loyal FC member for years when suddenly they decided to increase my membership rate from $10 a month to $12 a month. While this may not be a lot of money to most it is for us retirees. Contacted customer service for assistance and explained they are currently offering memberships for $10 a month. They refused to give an explanation as to why my rate increased and seemed less than concerned that it appears they are using predatory business practices towards older members since this rate hike is not being applied to all members. Beware!

So, a couple days ago I came to this gym with a friend to try it out and one of the front desk representatives signed me up for the one week free guest pass that they offer. So, my guest pass is supposed to end on Monday, January 22. I've been here for the past 3-days check in like usual. Everyday I've come I notice the same heavy set African- American women stare me down (maybe the manger). I mean looking me up and down and does not speak to me specially AT ALL. So, today January 18 I come in, I check in with the front desk representative and the young lady says you're good to go. As I walk in and almost get to the locker room I hear someone running behind me at full speed like a dog. OF COURSE, guess who it is? The woman who been looking me up and down since the first day I got the guest pass(heavy set black woman with the red lipstick). She says it's $10, I said no ma'am I'm on the one week free guess pass. She then proceeds to tell me my guest pass was revoked. I proceeded to ask why.. she said it looks like you had a guest pass here in 2018... I said that's funny because I moved here in 2019 so how? I asked her plenty of follow up questions and of course she had no clear answers. She not only was full of crap, but she knew i was aware she was full of it. Then she goes what are you wanting to do today? So I say WORKOUT., I mean it's a gym right. I say all this to say I was going to get a membership on Monday, but not anymore with her looking for me every time I walk in and staring me down like I took something from her. Terrible customer service!!!!! Very discouraged from attending this type of gym moving forward!!!

Sherry is a great manager.LInda the maintenance lady is wonderful. Bathroom always clean. The facility is well maintained. Notice the people wiping equipment.

I like this gym but I really wish the kids club hours were extended! Working Moms can’t get a workout in on Fridays, the hours are limited Saturdays, and there are no hours on Sundays. The weekends would be the easiest time for me to go to the gym but I can’t because of the kids club hours! ?

People, if you want head aches, join this company, if you are smart, stay away from this stupid company. If you and when you plan on cancel your membership, you will be lied, pushed from month to month, without canceling the account. First you will be lied to put the account on freeze, then you need 48 hours of submitting a feedback form. After that they will bill you one more month then they promise they will disconnect. I got no where yet for 4 months now.

Fun fact, they charge you a NON REFUNDABLE $50 each year. They also REQUIRE a 30 day cancelation fee, so if ur trying to cancel immediately, they're still going to charge you next month for NO REASON.

I’m leaving this gym! I can’t ever get a good workout in. Too many “kids”playing around in groups. It’s like a I’m back in highschool. Horrible

Personal training was fine. The issue I have is when I ask for payments on the personal training to be stopped and it is not. I had multiple notes in my account showing that I was not supposed to be charged anymore after a two month period (went up to the front desk multiple times asking not to be charged again where I was told I would not be) and I was still charged. Asked for a refund over the phone and was told I would get a call back (talked to a manager). Never got a call back. I have completely cancelled all services with this location but I am still nervous I might be charged again for another month even though I have asked multiple times not to be charged again for personal training that I will not use. Be weary of this location when it comes to this. Even when I was on the phone one of the first times I brought up the issue, one of the trainers said "I understand, this has happened to many of our clients". If that is the case then why isnt this being handled? I called customer service multiple times for help but the automated message told me I was calling out of business hours which was not the case. Bad customer service.

This location is over crowded. Any time between 3 to 730 it turns into a young adult club. They gather in a pack at multiple stations to socialize, play fight or take pictures of themselves instead of working out. They sit on the machines looking at their phones.Gym staff really need to monitor this stuff. However, I've never seen them walk around to do so.At this point you either need to get off early to workout or wait until late at night.And this place is Hot. I had to call from inside the gym one day to ask if they had the heater on. Everyone was complaining to each other. The young lady told me it's just muggy since it rained early. Ah No that's not how it works. Just before I was about to leave they finally cut the air on.They need to get it together. Their competition is opening soon.

I signed my son up for a gym membership and personal trainer. Once school sports started I cancelled the PT sessions in the Indian Trail location. They told me I was good to go. I look at my credit card statement and they charged me again. I call into customer service and they state that they cant find cancellation, so they will require 30 days notice and charge me once more and then cancel. I cancelled all services and recommend going elsewhere.

Have been a member for a while but the equipment is old… and needs to be upgraded. Spent 10 minutes on a treadmill only to realize the incline is completely broken. Just needs work!

For some reason, the cleaning lady really enjoys hanging out in the men's locker room and restroom throughout the day, even when nothing needs to be cleaned. Strange how if it was a man doing this in a woman's locker room it would be considered unprofessional, but this location turns a blind eye to it. It's nearly a daily reoccurrence, even if you go different times per day. If you confront her about it, she pretends she doesn't speak English and then says in Spanish that she has sons as if that is to change anything.

Been going for 2 years..it's very bad Equipment torn out of date. Missing clips. Packed gym and no signs of addressing the situationsBut they're #1 in sales. They let people know that.I cannot wait for one of the staff to tell me to get off my phone. I need help with my phone bill anyway At least the carpet is sticky and the sauna works
