My wife ordered from Pollen Peddlers several times over the years without any issues, but her last experience changed everything. She ordered bees using their recommended 2-day shipping, and the package never arrived. When she reached out to the owner, Trish, the response was that she could send more bees—but only if we paid the shipping again, this time overnight. She also said they don’t refund shipping for lost packages.
When my wife pushed back—reasonably, since nothing was ever delivered—Trish stopped responding. There’s nothing on their website that clearly states customers have to eat the cost when a package is lost. My wife only got her refund because the credit card company intervened, not because the business did the right thing.
Months later, when Trish became a moderator for a Lyme disease forum and learning I was a member, she removed me and my wife to retaliate and harm us. From my perspective, this was petty and shameful, since my wife had relied on that community for support. Fortunately, my wife was at the end of her treatment so Trish’s spiteful action was for naught.
After this experience, it’s clear there are far better and more professional places to buy bees. I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
Response to Pollen Peddlers: The UPS claim they assert was filed by the customer was in fact filed by them; so they would get a refund instead of my wife (keeping our money). As it pertains to removal from the Lyme Group, I never blocked the administrator but was removed after asking a question immediately after Trish learned of the relationship to my wife. Very childish and spiteful.

Trish and Pollen Peddlers have been a saving grace for our family.
Her knowledge and practical advice have truly changed my daughter's life. We’ve been doing Bee Venom Therapy (BVT) for my daughter’s Lyme disease for the past 15 months, and she has her life back. She was just 15 years old when we started, and now, almost 17 years old, her test results show that the Lyme is almost completely gone.
Trish is an angel — someone who has walked this difficult road herself and now dedicates her life to helping others. She is kind, caring, and incredibly knowledgeable. I truly can’t recommend her enough.
We are beyond grateful to have found Pollen Peddlers.

I have been drinking my matcha tea with honey in an effort to not drink coffee. I prefer local honey. Unfortunately, my husband had to buy Kirkland brand twice and while it's convenient, it just isn't the same. Today I tried everything I could to get to the regional farmers' market, but work kept me too busy. I Googled local honey and voila! Pollen Peddlers came up, and they were indeed local! So I called to make sure they were open, then I went.
Now disclaimer, I'm not from around here, nor have I ever purchased honey other than a farmers' market or store. So when I pulled up, I was a little nervous for the residential setting and long driveway. However, I was greeted by a fluffy black cat and a man who assisted me with my purchase. I got 2 3lb. jars, that were still warm from being freshly processed, and as soon as I got home, fixed my tea.
I examined the color, smelled it, and I tell you, there is certainly a positive difference from getting honey from a local seller compared to a commercial seller. The taste is so unadulterated. 🥰

Pollen Peddler's local wildflower honey is absolutely delicious! It has a really nice flavor and isn't overly sweet. I look forward to having it in my oatmeal each morning. Thank you!

My son used to experience environmental allergies that resulted in croup and stridor attacks. His oxygen would drop into the mid to low 80s. Once old enough, his pediatrician recommended that he start Zyrtec or Claritin in February each year. Neither OTC meds helped. This past year, we finally decided to start using local honey and after a decade our son isn't having ANY issues with environmental allergies, croup, or stridor attacks! Thank you Pollen Peddlers!

Pollen Peddlers Apiary is a fantastic place for those new to beekeeping in addition to the folks who have been doing it for as long as they remembered. Trish’s ability to keep things simple and clear while diving deep into subjects like Bee genetics and grafting was most enjoyable as she spent the day giving a group of us hands on experience! Thank you Pollen Peddlers!

I spent a very enlightening morning with Trish and Greg as they shared their bee keeping knowledge. Trish welcomed me to come out to her place and get some hands on time with her very docile bees. Trish loves to pass on her bee keeping expertise and she taught me so much in a short amount of time. Thank you!

Pollen Peddlers is gem in our community! If you are looking for delicious local honey, eggs and quality, handmade products, look no further. Trish and Greg have all of it and then some!
I, personally, love the Propolis Salve - great for blemishes, cuts, bug bites and even poison ivy/oak - I swear it will clear it up in 5 days vs. 3 weeks! Another favorite are the whipped honey flavors - great on peanut butter sandwiches, crackers, yogurt, or by the spoonful! (I love using the cinnamon flavored one in my coffee.) If you are suffering from the ravages of Lyme disease(as well as some other conditions), Pollen Peddlers also provides Bee Venom Therapy, which can provide life changing results for those willing to try something different.
Don't miss your opportunity to shop local at Pollen Peddlers on Wesley Chapel Rd!
