“It's that time of year again. Every years with give Friends and Business Associates a little gift which in most cases is a bottle of the Biltmore Estates Christmas Wine.We've already bought the wine a couple of weeks ago at Total Wine in Huntersville but now in pursuit of some nice Christmas Wine Bags. These are normally readily available this time of year in Dollar Stores.There is one not too far from here but since we were going over to Lincolnton for Lunch at Italiano's , my wife pointed out that we were going to be going past a Dollar General and we could stop there. Neither of us had ever been to this particular store.We stopped in and it appears that Christmas Wine Gift Bags are not out yet but expected in after Halloween. They did have some other nice Christmas Shopping Bags however, so we picked up a couple of those.Store is very nice and well organized, and the store staff is very helpful.Since we are in Lincolnton a couple of times a year, we will definitely be back as it gets closer to Christmas.”
“I miss the where the old Dollar Tree stores used to function now it's just a Dollar Tree name and it cost me just as much going anywhere else than the Dollar Tree this really affects people that need something more affordable always went to the Dollar Tree to get my money wasted on a dollar item that I needed that was affordable”
“I came here today just to see what they had and there were some fun and unique things that they had the prices were definitely reasonable I definitely will come back but trying to find the place if you're not careful you can drive right past it luckily they have their big old sign outside”

“After getting ideas from tic tock ladies. I then go to the Dollar tree. I've travel to abt 4 different stores in my 15 mile radius. All stores have a few items that the others don't have. The kids have 22 students to there class. Everyone will have a bucket n shovel. Also 3 other items in each bucket. Please, don't go up in prices......I see lots of people shopping, sharing ideas n giving info on the stores that have the item that store doesn't. So, you get public relation, advertisements free, and items bought. It's a win win for ALL. Jan in n.c.”

“I just want to give a huge shoutout to Jordyn at the Dollar Tree! I've seen her there before and she is always incredibly kind, helpful, and sweet. Today, she went above and beyond for me. | was picking out balloons for my mom and aunt, and she didn't just ring them up. She helped me choose the colors and created a beautiful balloon bouquet out of them. It turned out amazing and really made my day.
She took time and care with everything, and you can just tell she enjoys helping people and takes pride in what she does. I don't know if she's the manager, but honestly, if she's not she should be! Employees like Jordan are rare. She definitely deserves recognition (and probably a raise too!). Thank you, Jordyn, for making a simple Dollar Tree run feel so special!”
“It's family dollar the help is a little abrasive acting at times I guess they don't realize that they work for family dollar yet and are no better than anyone else maybe one day they will figure that out big parking lot just a little hard to get back out on main road at this location”
“I had one of the best shopping experience at this location during my visit around 8:45 am on Sep 25th.
Why mention the timing so precisely?
Because I want to make sure that the right employees get the credit.
The gentleman who was working stock in the back of the store was working hard to make the store nicely presentable and greeted with a good morning while actually acknowledging a customer along with the cashier being polite and friendly!

“Employees in my opinion work too hard. Ever time I come in they are loading merchandise on the shelves in between checking customers out. If I cant find something they always stop what they are doing and take me there. Always greet me with a smile. I hope you appreciate them.”

“I would like to say kudos to Boger City Dollar General. Went in today they are training a sweet young lady with Downs Syndrome. I commend you for this! I will keep going to that store although I have a choice of 5 in my immediate area.”
“Very friendly staff, and nice, clean store! I've gotten to know the employees and I have to say it really burns me up to see some of these reviews complaining about only one register open and shelves not being stocked because you all need to realize they , like every business are given a tight budget for labor! These people work their tails off trying to keep the store clean and stocked while also trying to run register, they aren't allowed to have more than 2 people working at a time most days and some days only allowed one person! So, when you see some of the shelves empty, that's why... When you see an employee outside smoking, that's probably the first break they've gotten in 4 or 5hrs! The two ladies that usually work during the day are constantly running around the store trying so hard to clean and stock and take care of their rude customers that do nothing but fuss and complain about them not standing behind the register all day while at the same time they're complaining about items not in stock! Come on people! Can you be in 2 places at once? These ladies do their best!”

“Was looking for ice trays and couldn't find any. Asked one of the clerks and she took me to them and said there were more up front that were a little bit more expensive $1/$2. Couldn't find the ones up front so another clerk (who was off duty) took me to them. What a nice experience as a consumer. Good job Family Dollar team. ?”
“The manager and the employees are often smoking right outside the door.It's not professional at all. Also I noticed the help is taking up parking by using the spaces in front of the store.The manager seems to be rude and has a sour look on her face all the time.Help is hard to find but these workers are ridiculous.Although they have one male that seems to be very nice and friendly to the people. They are slow at the lines.I go out of my way to avoid this DG if all possible. New management is a must.”
“So after a while of going this place isn't that bad. The store tends to be clean. Otherwise tends to be low in stock of a lot of frozen items or refrigerated items. However they otherwise are friendly and nice to deal with.”
“I would rather go 15 minutes out of my way just to go to this Dollar general then go to the one on highway 16 in front of Bloom. The one on 16 the staff is very rude and disrespectful. That's why you always find me at Dollar general in Stanley because all the stuff there is absolutely amazing they're sweet they know you on a first name basis as well as I do theirs they treat you like family you know. So yeah I got 15 minutes out of my way to go to a store that treats me lucky human being”

“The lady cashier, with gray hair, was unbelievably helpful. I have difficulty walking & I appreciated her thoughtfulness more than I can say. She made my day. If more were like that lady, businesses would not be closing, they would be booming. I look forward to her being there again next time I go on. Wonderful experience.”
