If you're going for nostalgia look no further. A great selection of games, game systems, movies, nostalgia or retro, military gear and supplies, and music. This shop has comic based movie props from marvel movies and more that were worn by some big names. Blade, the Thing (Fantastic Four), Star Wars, The Punisher, etc. There is a comic shop attached with plenty of older back issues, toys, collectibles, art, books, and more. The staff is pretty nice and will work with you a little if the prices are too far off.

It always amuses me when people hold it against retro stores for thier prices ? like what do you expect? Good luck finding a better deal on Ebay.Paying more for a childhood game that aged like fine wine as opposed to paying the same if not more for a digital game in the modern market that is buggy on launch as well as never being able to physically own it is exactly why I've defected back to retro Era gaming recently and this establishment has it all on top of stellar presentation, products are in good condition, great variety of collectables, games, music, and other electronics.I recently bought some 70's Elvis albums that were not reproductions in pretty impressive and positive condition that was sold here cheaper than if I had looked in other areas/online. I got three of his original albums for a little over 40 dollars where online I would've payed 40 or 50 for just one album in pretty poor condition. The Owner/employees are such pleasant people too! Even if you are just looking around in the shop without buying anything they are still very welcoming and hospitable. The Bargain Shop is a total nostalgia trip and the vibes here are great, I highly recommend it!

This place is awesome.. you can find any game or system that you are looking for, plus more, and they do layaway. I will continue going here and getting all the retro games that we played as kids.. Also, they let my grandson take pictures with the characters they have on display so cool. Thank you, guys

No BARGAIN'S to be found here. Only vintage retail prices with a warranty that expires a step outside the door. So apparently it's two separate stores right next to each other owned by the same guy. I remember when it was all one store fifteen years ago. Now you get sent back and forth between stores multiple times trying to sell vintage toys and electronics, low-ball offers (was offered twice as much at another vintage toy and videogame shop right down the street), and the credit you get from one store is no good in the other (don't try selling vintage toys or comics hoping to get credit for videogames or electronics). I really wish this place had stayed the way it was back in the day. I used to enjoy going there

I discovered this retro gem about 10 years ago. I found a good bit of stuff for my PS2 and PS3 and even picked up some rare arcade memorabilia. Prices are great and the staff is a lot of fun.I've recently started visiting this location weekly. I'm jumping into vinyl collecting and they have an awesome selection.Definitely the only place I'll go for retro gaming, movies and records. Great place for collector's and very educated on the market!

I've come to the bargain shop a few times now, even sold a few things to them as well. The two ladies that are usually in are always friendly and make a point to greet you upon entry. They've got a wide selection of memorabilia, movie collectibles, retro videogames ranging from SNES up to Xbox series Xs or PS5s. They also have a comic shop attached that sell various figures, comics(obviously), vinyl, posters and the like. They accept credit and debit, have signs for preferring cash, never had any issue though. IDs will be matched to payment card for transactions, just a heads up if that will be an issue for you.Picked up a Wii from the shop today, along with two games, extra controllers, bonus was that it is a gen 1 for backwards compatibility. Price was an absolute steal in my opinion. Highly recommend. System works great.

Too much selection, great staff, avoid if you want good prices, and don't want anything. ?

I have been buying Marvel Legends Figures and comics from this shop ever since I moved here in 2016. Ever since then, ive spent around $500 a year here. Ive been a loyal customer. I'm sure many employees will remember me as the guy who shows up every Thursday to check if there's new stock.(Before anyone replies to this review saying that you'd love to talk and help remedy the problem, I have tried to talk to several employees. I have even left a note and contact info for a Manager or the owner to call me. Nothing ever came from those attempts.)Over the last 2 years. I've noticed a massive price increase for new products. So I started asking why. No one had an answer for me for a long time. Eventually I figured it out and talking with some employees confirmed my suspicion. This company buys products from legitimate vendors online, and then charges their customers full ebay scalper prices for said items. There have been numerous occasions I have found brand new items for 50%-100% more expensive then any other vendor. And these items are IN STOCK online. It would be one thing if they were rare items, but these are just new items.I finally pointed all of this out to an employee who said he orders items and helps maintain stock. He acted indignant and completely confused that I was put off by this. He explained to me that they're a business and 'how do I expect them to make money and keep the doors open'? ( if your company stays open by ripping off ignorant customers by participating in scalping products from legitimate vendors, then you do not have a business. You have a Racket.)They dont care that it is scalping. They dont care about fair price models. They only care about inflated ebay pricing to maximize individual product margin.Let me make this clear...THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE COLLECTORS THEY CATER TO.The prices will remain outrageous, they will act as the victim when you point this out. They will continue to scalp new items and charge half as much or double for them.Terrible business.

Way too over priced. 30 dollars for a one wii controller when you can go to Walmart and buy 4 for 16.99.

I’ve been here a few times it’s been mostly ok experiences. Not really mind blowing prices but I can definitely see why someone would be unhappy with the prices compared to local businesses. It definitely feels like they are just there to be there I go and take a look every now and then but there are other game stores that at least have a better shopping experience. Fun to go in and look at stuff not so much fun to shop.
