Up 1 star for the stores customer service which is a different team than the online customer service. After 3 weeks of waiting with zero help from online customer service, I contacted the store directly to let them know if the item arrived I would not receive it nor pay for return shipping.Apparently it's not the same customer service if you order online. The store called the online customer service with me on hold and got me a refund in 5 minutes. I cancelled the dispute of the charge but would hesitate to order from them again.

Terribly disappointed!Looked at these cabinets for months, made the decision to order, they come and the boxes are marked WHITE. I ordered Wheat. Heartbroken.Asked the driver if he could open and verify and he said no, asked if the rest of the boxes were white or wheat, he said if you refuse one, you are refusing the whole order completely. So I ordered 3 wheat vanities, and have ZERO.I sincerely feel like crying. Called the Jacksonville store and they could only put me through to dot.com or a cabinet person to reorder. I needed a human to look in the boxes.I literally need a human, to open a box, verify it is a wheat wooden color and get it to my house. It seems no one can do that anymore. Unhappy remodeling customer with 3 bathrooms to be remodelled.

Great selection, poor monotone customer service return desk and flooring center. Does not honor military discount. I was super nice, complemented the manager, then was sent to flooring and return desk... wow... I simply asked if they honor military discount and they said no exaggeration: "not everything is discounted here" I said "I didn't even tell you what I was considering purchasing"...Two burnt out employees ruined my experience. Dawana the manager was kind and apologized for their demeanor yet said she was powerless to assist with military discounts if you're not already registered. She gets an "A" for tone and inflection. The others: don't shop here. Am an average nice guy, no ego. Planning on redoing my home and bathroom. Heck no on this place. They used to be good. I'd rather spend 50% more at a competitor for a kind voice. My $2,000 dollar purchase won't matter much to them, yet the flooring department guy and the returns lady on 11/4/22 at 8pm ruined my fun project. I won't be back.

If you're seeking delivery services from this Home Depot please don't. My husband and I recently moved to Jacksonville as we are a military family, we bought new washer and dryer. It's been 11 days since our delivery was supposed to happen with every phone call being a promise that our delivery will happen the next day yet has not been made! Finally called today AGAIN since they told us delivery would be "FOR SURE" today, & that we would get a call 30 mins prior to our delivery today.... which we didn't get.. and was told we would be reached out tomorrow to set a "forsure" delivery date. Ended the 1 hour phone call ( more than half of it was spent waiting on hold) without a date for our delivery, as if we are a joke and they don't care about your situation since they already got their money.. the people we've encountered while trying to get this resolved have been everything except helpful and useful. I'm extremely upset because Ive spent probably about $150 just trying to keep our clothes clean in laundromats when we already paid for a dryer and washer. They then hit me with the " the delivery people were at the gate but couldn't go in because of some paper work" when prior to this the marines at the gate told them exactly what paperwork was needed for them to get into base to deliver this, yet they knew and didn't bring the paperwork required.. and think that it wasn't their fault when they knew. Extremely upset about their customer service and their lack of effort to try to resolve this when we already paid for it all. Please take your money and business elsewhere, they will take their sweet time with everything!

This place sucks. No open registers for cash, only kiosk with card only. Asked the help desk if I could cash out there, they stayed you have to cash out down at a register, which none are open. Horrible service and last visit from me. Wish there was a no star option.

There is one guy in the electrical department having my trust. He was off, so staff fetched another 'electrician'. The takeaway is the 'electrician' talked out of both sides of his Orange Vest, one side of which could kill you. The other side was ok. but still..i sought a direct answer, not spiel(s). To wrap this review up, 'electrician' stated to hust go ahead and share the neutral between two independent circuits; ' that load on the shared side is only 100 milliamps. A call came in, and he walked off before I could get this fellow to square the corners on my question.35 milliamps of current across the chest can drop and kill a large, strong man. When I got home, I checked the 2017 National Electrical code. Shared neutrals between circuits are forbidden. Even if one circuit breaker is off, as soon as a load is applied to the 'shared' neutral load on the closed breaker, the 'shared' neutral on the 'other', OFF breaker is live, hot and energized.Be careful out there. No one us going to protect you but you. So, the kindly 'electrician' leaves us all with the advice to 'you just be you!'

On July 3, 2020 I visited Home Depot in Jacksonville, NC. as my husband and I do almost every week. But an encounter with an associate by the name of Jerry was pretty bad. First he hit me with his cart, and acted like he really didn't want to be at work. He was very rude. I went to the customer service desk to speak with the manager. The manager's name is Ken Shirley. My encounter with the manager was worst than my encounter with Jerry. Instead of him actively listening to my concerns, he made excuses for Jerry's behavior. Saying, "That doesn't sound like Jerry. Something must be going on with him. He always gets great customer feedback ". I told the manager just because he treats you one way, does not mean he treats everyone the same way. He totally made the situation about Jerry and not address the lack of customer service he provided. My encounter with the manager left me feeling worst than my encounter with Jerry! I am rating them 1 star, they probably don't deserve that. From now on I am shopping at Lowes!

The purchase of my new carpet at the Jacksonville Home Depot went quick. They still have a good selection of carpet (Lowe's Home Improvement has about discontinued the carpet business), still has good price selection and free installation. However, the sales person there took down my phone number with ONE digit off! I noticed it two hours later and called it in to the flooring department right away. I asked her whether the measuring tech scheduled for the following Monday would have the correct phone number - sure she said .... Unfortunately he didn't. He was delayed about an hour. He had called the wrong number and had to check back with Home Depot. The measuring tech knew his job, great with the laser tool and the program used to develop the room sketch. I was able to download the sketch later - for future purposes - GREAT. The installation crew from the subcontractor (USIG from Wilmington, NC) also did a great job. They arrived on time, were responsive to special details of my room, worked hard and fast. Altogether a good experience with Home Depot and subcontractors.

So we built a new home and bought our kitchen appliances from Home Depot and had them stored @ our builders warehouse until installation. We moved in a few days before Thanksgiving and while cooking Thanksgiving dinner, only second time used the oven, the door would NOT close! Someone had to stand there and hold it closed! A pin inside hinge broke. I Called manager of H.D. And he said I only had 48 hrs.to return the product!! My builder checked appliances but , really? Was he suppose to run them all within 48hours!? Anyways, after numerous calls I was told no replacement was allowed. I know if bought @ Loews I'd have a replacement by now. Aren't "defective" and" damaged" different things? A Maytag technician took my oven door to fix it, that was week after Thanksgiving..now I won't have my oven til after New Years!! No holiday cooking For me. I have since heard from repairmen that Home Depot's service is the worst followed closely by Best Buy. DONT buy your appliances at Home Depot they won't replace them if there's a problem, or repair them in a timely manner!

In the store a little while ago we were impressed on how amazing the customer service was! We were looking for a specific lawnmower a couple days before and stopped by and was told that it was out of stock. But today when we went to purchase a different one Maurice, Larry, and Mike along with three other employees (who's names we did not catch) in a span of 30 minutes helped us find and purchase a lawn mower and weedwacker we originally wanted. We bought the last lawnmower available which ended up being the display model. They Even showed us how to use it. And when the military discount wasn't working they kept trying on different registers and programs until it went through. We bought it at 479 S Marine Blvd Jacksonville NC. All of our questions were thoroughly answered. Also was able to be held in the store while we move into our new house. Thankyou and the Home Depot team for being amazing. And their dedication for their unmatched customer service! We will definitely be recommending your store and enjoy stopping by again soon.

Worst customer service ever! One would think after spending 10k on appliances, and not receiving one of the items for over 3 months, and still haven’t received item, Home Depot may want to help appease the situation. But no, they say, “we told you not to buy this item and it’s not our fault”. OMG, how do you stay in business? Will not buy another thing from here and will spread the word!

We have always done our home improvement shopping here but never again. We ordered a new dishwasher to be installed and delivered. The first attempt was scheduled for 2 weeks later. It was not completed due to incompetent subcontractors not being able to remove old dishwasher and telling us we had to cut the tile floor. Really you just had to screw the legs down to slide out. Attempt two after paying another company to remove old dishwasher ended with an incomplete install an
