Drove 30 mins to check out the nursery it was about 2:30pm and it says they close at 4pm. But the lady there told me they were closed. Will not be returning.

This review is more of an employee standpoint. Grants creek is entirely disorganized. From over-working employees in general, unfair pay practices and how they conduct business as a whole I’m honestly not surprised the turn over rate is as high as it is. They’ll send you to a job site with entirely wrong blueprints and instead of taking accountability, they’ll have their workers reverse and redo an entire days worth of work before allowing them to go home to their families. They’ll send 6 workers on a 2 man job or 2 workers on a 6 man job due to lack of planning and pop attitude at their laborers as if they have the authority to plan these gigs…No stability in terms of hours as they force overtime and expect employees to simply stay in the heat until the job is done to compensate for their inability to keep employees past the 90 day mark. God forbid you stay home when ill or I t’s instant grounds for termination. They enforce a strict policy on not discussing pay as they’ve been called out for paying tenured employees less than new hires with lesser experience. They are withholding my final check and refusing to allow me to pick it up due to “policy” despite me watching them hand a final check, day of, to an employee that left last week over unfair pay practices. Just an all-around gross and thankless experience.

Went to this location on a hot day in June so maybe that was a factor. All of the plants were dying or dead, but still overpriced.

I came because it's a local nursery and I've seen video on fb of all the beautiful stuff they get in. I was looking to expand my plants and I'm so glad I went. They have beautiful well taken care of plants.. my favorite thing is the dog who loves belly rubs and cats and kittens roaming.. I love animals and didn't mind them one bit! I picked up 4 new small plants and came to just over $40 .. I think the prices are very reasonable but I'm not a plant enthusiast that looks for specific plants.. some were more expensive but they were gorgeous.. lots of pottery and decor and plant care items to choose from. The staff was very kind and friendly willing to help with any questions you have.. very happy with my purchases today and glad I took drive out!

Best nursery in Onslow! They always help us out and if they can’t they know who can. Definitely worth the visit!

We were not acknowledged when we came in. Two employees were dealing with the same customer for 10 minutes. We finally left. . Their site states, "Ninety-five percent of the plant material is propagated and grown on site, ensuring the plants you buy are suitable for our climate zone." The plants I saw were grown in different nurseries. Dont waste your time

This first time I visited grants creek was about a year ago. I’ve been countless times since then. I love all the workers and animals. They’ve always been so helpful with my general plant questions and or helping me find what I’m looking for. By far the best nursery I visit in town or in the surrounding areas. I’m always looking for an excuse to go! I love my grants creek gals ?

(Zero Stars) As others have stated, the long drive to the middle of nowhere is not worth the negative experience. Obviously, they don't care about actually selling any products. The first time I visited this place, the young girl was extremely rude to my friend, insinuating that she could not afford to purchase a plant. A plant which was laying on the ground, brown and nearly dead, but was supposedly $400! I tried this place one more time, this time upon opening the door, a large dog ran to the door barking at me and my mother, who was visibly afraid. The worker yelled to the dog to "shut up", instead of securing the dog away from potential customers. We entered and not only did one dog continually follow us, but another dog also came out of a back room and began barking. No one bothered to do anything about the situation, and that same rude young girl was sitting behind the counter without a care. I will never return, I regret subjecting people I care about to this awful establishment, and will dissuade anyone I know from visiting. I would rather drive hours out of town to places that I know I will have a much better experience. I will end this post here, because I have already wasted too much of my time and energy there.

I love coming to Grant's Creek. Their houseplant selection is insane and beautifully cared for. Meredith is so sweet and so helpful. They also have fun events like crafting and macrame. This is definitely my absolute favorite nursery.

The lady that works the counter is very cold, blunt and unappreciative of my business. The place needs new people running the counter that are service oriented and most of all friendly.

I grant (no pun intended) two stars only on account of the white-haired lady who was as helpful as she could be given the horrible vibes the one in charge of the front counter was giving off. I came back two days later after researching chems they sell and sadly that ray of sunshine was the only one on desk duty. She is careful not to be overtly rude, but there is level of cautious condescension there which is impressively off-putting. They had just raised the price on what I wanted $3 which was confusing on account of the price in the photo and the way she reacted to my inquiry was enough to make me gleefully drive all the way to Richlands to give a competitor my business, regardless of price.
