Went here to pick out a birthday gift and the lady who helped me pick out a skirt that'd go well with my corset and boots was amazing! I was really nervous but I'm glad she was able to help me! Unfortunately the skirt I ended up going with had a missing stud and we had to order one through them, I think there was a misunderstanding because it got shipped to the store vs our home address but we emailed and got that figured out to where they'll ship it to us instead of the mall.

First time I've been been in this store in probably 10-12 years and sadly I'd have to say that it's not no where like it use to be. I use to live for the weekends to go visit this store....but now the apparels are not as "hip" as they use to say. The items are not as cool and eye catching as before.. The employee that I did see focused more on following me around like I was a criminal about to steal something instead of asking me the real reason I was walking around looking dumbfied needing help trying to find a product. So that wasn't very professional at all. And to top it all off and probably the number #1 reason that I've given Hop Topic™ located in the mall in Jacksonville North Carolina a 1 ⭐ star review is the music they had playing in store. Absolutely terrible. I use to love y'all I really did.. but now I say there's nothing hot about that topic..but Spencer's a few stores down 5stars all day

Editing my review to say the staff has gotten increasingly rude and unhelpful. Don't expect to be able to try anything on, they use the only fitting room as a storage unit. Not impressed at all.
