Horrible customer service! I would give them less than a ZERO if I could. The bill was paid, although a little late, it was paid. And the people at the Gum Branch location tried to double charge and now they refuse to go unlock the unit. I put in a complaint and the District Manager, Hunter Wilberger, has yet to reach out. Called again today and they’re closed. I will DEFINITELY be taking my business elsewhere!

Shawn and Samantha were absolutely amazing!!!! They were detailed, considered, and helpful!! They helped us do much with everything! We wouldn’t have been able to do what we needed without them!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!!! Thank you Shawn!!

There was a mix up with my bill but Shawn and the property manager Samantha were very understanding and helpful. And they got our situation solved very quickly. Both of them were very nice about it.

Although the place is clean and behind a fence, property management has only been there 2 times out 6 that I went to my unit. I gave them formal notice that I was vacanting the unit approximately 15 days before the end of the month and they still charged me for the next month.I do not recommend this company unless you pay in person by the month.

On Wednesday, January 24, 2024, I went to the SROA Office at 1230 Gum Branch Rd, Jacksonville, NC to pay my storage bill. Samantha accepted payment. Her pleasant manner was welcome. She is the "face" of SROA; the company is fortunate.

Very difficult to access online. Hard to see full application and fill in circles. Customer service doesn't want to help you,but they take your money first and then your left alone to try and figure out how to get your bin number and access codes. Need a better way. Also prices way to high to put your things in box with roaches, waterbugs and rat boxes. Bugs were helping me open the door. I'm moving out and it hasn't been 30 days.

I couldn't find my gate code this morning which was stressful. The employee Shawn helped me by not only getting me the code but walked outside to test it to ensure it was correct! Great customer service ??

The assistant Manager in the Gum Branch Jacksonville location was so helpful in getting my code and ensuring it worked. I think his name was Shun. I really appreciate all his efforts.

The absolute worst customer service I have encountered. Find another place to store your items this place is not good. My rent was increased with out notice. While moving out I was delayed due to inclement weather and I was charged an entire month for just a few hours into the next billing cycle.

This is hands down the worst storage unit. They will will raise your fees on top of already outrageous fees and charges you when you cancel your services with them. They don’t answer the phone when you try to call and obviously they don’t check on the units because I had been moved out of my unit for a month and nobody reached out to inquire why the unit was open or unsecured. I tried to call to cancel the services and left a message. Nobody returned my call. After they charged my card again I left work early to go by there and cancel in person only to be charged again for a unit I haven’t used in a month. Stay away from this place unless you enjoy being nickeled and dimed.
