Beautiful park that hosts all kinds of events. We went to a 5k and to the christmas event and had a great time! Beautiful park right by the water.

Our original intent was to do geocaching here but apparently they are no longer participating. Walked down to the river after looking . Very peaceful, beautiful homes to look at, beautiful day.Dog-friendliness: Lots of people walking dogs today. All on leashes of course.

It's a well-kept park to walk and bring your family. There are benches along the way for our littles to rest at.

It's small, but a cute place to walk around. It's also close to the water so the view is nice.

Love this area, beautiful homes, quite peaceful. Visiting for events is always fun, some events better than others. I definitely recommend National Night Out, great for the family!

I decided to take my kids to jacksonville Riverwalk Park for their annual wintefest. Sometimes, with it being the south, snow isn't ever seen. My kids loved watching Santa ride in on his Harley. They loved telling him what they wanted for Christmas. We also watched the dance groups and jacksonville orchestra that played. By far, though, was the sliding part. They just got the best smiles. It's what it's all about. Bringing the community together.

Safe park to walk. Park is near the water, and lots of events are held here. Be on the lookout while walking for hidden rocks!Playground: Playground is next to this park and water. Tennis courts are here as well

I decided to bring my kiddos to the park so they could enjoy jacksonville winterfest for the first time. We have lived here for over a decade, but yet this was our first time coming. My kids loved watching Santa ride in on his Harley. The man playing Santa was courteous and didn't feel like they rushed the kids in and out like an assembly line. Or herding cattle. Didn't feel like that at all. The lines were crazy long. Just means so many of our local neighbors got to enjoy the fun festivities out city put on for its people. The "snow" could definitely be improved, but this is coming from a former northern who lived in the snow.

Real nice walking park. I believe the potential for the area is being wasted! We should have events like a Friday after five with bands and food vendors etc! We could have this monthly with family events weekly! Just saying, though it is beautiful! JK
