Used them when I lived in jacksonville, they were very honest, and the pricing for the repairs was extremely fair even let me pick up my car a little bit after closing, I’d really recommend them to anyone in the Jacksonville area.

My 2004 Trailblazer had the alternator die suddenly when I was 46 miles from home. I managed to get the 1.9 miles to their shop at 3:30 pm and they quickly and efficiently replaced the bad alternator and had me back on the road. Extremely courteous and friendly staff.An excellent experience all around. I will definitely use them in the future.

Very friendly people that do great work! I hope they can forgive me for constantly calling! They are very busy.I was told my rear subframe had to be replaced due to being rusted. I was referred here and thank goodness I was. They worked their magic and found me a subframe. The nice lady had to bother many people but they did all they could and found one with no rust! They put it on for me all for a reasonable price.Thank you so much for your hard work! I will definitely keep you saved in my contacts!

Straight up with us and definitely helped at our lowest. Maybe it wasn't that bad for us but yet again they were very nice people and work a honest job. Prices are fair and there isn't the regular mainstream mechanic deal with the guys trying to sell you everything you don't need. Overall probably the only mechanic shop I'll be going to if I need anything.

I just want to say that this place saved me almost 800 dollars. The reason for this is they will let you source the part and put it in for you. i was invoiced for a starter by firestone for 550 dollars. When i sourced it it came out to 115. The labor from firestone coming out to an embarrassing 650.-let's just say that i sourced the part myself and this company kindly put it in for me within a day. keep in mind if you do something last second and it's a busy day ofc you may have to wait. But the transparency is worth it.-they helped me swiftly and even called 3 days afterwards so i could make money on the core of my starter.-Also after looking at other reviews i also see that they get heat for customers who made it difficult on themselves. I'm also sure that if the same customers went to franchised mechanics they would sure pay even more to be upset at something that they caused.-Love this place

I have been through three different mechanics shops in the area until I came across this one. Their honesty, transparency, and quality of work is far better than any other place I've been. They do what you ask, tell you what you need, and never try to sell you on what you don't.

The guys there explain in detail whats going on, make sure you're aware of upkeep and any other potential issues, and if they can, will give you price options instead of price gouging (ahem, Marine Chevy).

We came into town on a Friday to pick up our son's truck as he was stationed at New River and was to leave for another assignment. He called us about an hour before we arrived stating that he could not get his truck to start. We discussed what actions he needed to take as he was flying out on Saturday. He decided to have the truck towed to S&N for diagnostics and I decided that my wife and I would drive back home to Greenville, SC on Sunday and that I would have to get back to Jacksonville at some future date to get the truck once repaired. However ... S&N took immediate action, diagnosed the truck, gave us an estimate and stated that they could have it ready by close of business on Saturday! We have never been so thoroughly impressed by an automotive repair center in our entire experience with such businesses. The professionalism with which they addressed the problem and the kind and expedient service rendered was so very impressive. Our concern was that we would be victims of "price gouging" since we were out of town/state and we would pay dearly, but again to our surprise the repair while expensive due to the very nature of the issue, was no way out of line. We could not give a better recommendation for automotive service in the Jacksonville area. So, if you're ever there and have need for such service, give them a try. Best automotive mechanic shop in Jacksonville, NC hands down. Not only do they inform you of the process to fixing your vehicle, they also let you know of any changes in the overall price if extra work/parts are needed. Very patient and understanding. Wouldn't take my vehicles to anyone else. Great prices for great work cant beat it. Not your corporate business that only count customer's as numbers. Here you will feel like family. Great front staff Mrs. Alicia and awesome mechanics Nick & Stefano. If you have not been I would only recommend to swing through to S&N Automotive.
