The morning supervisior was very condescending. At first, she didn’t know anything the issues with deliveries in New River, but then suddenly claimed to know all about it. No empathy or understanding. I certainly wasn’t born yesterday. I was upset, yes, but I just want better customer service. without any mind games.

This is my third update.
I went in to discuss delivery issues and was finally able to meet the Postmaster. Michelle was very good at her customer service skills! My review went from 1 star to 4 stars! Let's hope she is a good problem solver.
She made that promise.

*** My experience at the Main Post Office on New Bridge Street in Jacksonville warrants a 1-star rating, if even that. It's incredibly frustrating because the staff at the smaller, local post offices are truly fantastic and consistently work hard to help customers. However, there's a clear, persistent, and significant problem with the management at this main location. This isn't just a minor issue; it directly impacts the efficiency, customer service, and overall atmosphere of the branch, unfortunately overshadowing any positive aspects. These ongoing management issues urgently need to be addressed for the sake of both the dedicated staff and the community they serve.
(Amazon deliveries, forwarded mail, and customer service are my biggest issues.)
While our community has been blocked by a lawsuit, this PostMaster General will not reach out to explain what's happening to my mail and how I should move forward. It's a shame that our community is suffering. No empathy or concern for our residents. I've reached out to a higher level, and still, there is silence. Shame shame shame

Mr. Chuck helped me send a package this morning.
My English is not very good, but he was very patient, kind, and had such a lovely attitude.
He told me he has worked here for a very long time (even longer than I’ve been alive).
I hope Mr. Chuck and everyone working here always stay healthy and well

We live off haws run rd and have new mail delivery person, every single Saturday, if there is a package, she marks that she wasn’t able to deliver it and we now have to go to the post office. She never comes by here on saturdays, just marks it as undeliverable. I was set to get a package today, it is 4:26 pm and my notification says it was attempted to be delivered at 7:08 pm and nobody was home…. Don’t know if she’s avoiding certain locations to get off earlier but I’m getting tired of having to go to the post office for mail especially when we have a special box to put packages in with out mailbox. It’s not hard, I don’t have to sign for Amazon..

The Downtown Post Office is always super busy with long lines, but the staff provides great customer service and works hard to keep things moving.
The biggest downside is the lack of automated machines, which would help cut down wait times. With how crowded this location gets, it’s clear the city could benefit from expanding services elsewhere.
They should really open the Huff Post Office to offer full postal services and a customer service counter. It’s in a convenient location and could take a lot of pressure off this one.

This has to be the best Post Office in the United States. I own a small business in South Carolina, I shipped some fishing rods to Jacksonville NC. The tube got there but not the rods. I called the main post office. Then a wonderful lady named Mrs Ronda called me back. She told me she would do her best to find them. I told her good luck I didn't think she could find them from Orangeburg SC to there. But she called the next day. She found them in Columbia SC. This lady went the extra mile to help me when no one else would. Thank You, again Mrs. Ronda

This post office is the best location in Onslow County. So many professionals who love their job and always go above and beyond to give you valued service. The team here is absolutely solid. Highly professional and knowledgeable to save you money when they can. Thank you USPS for putting together an outstanding team.

Literally just walked in and walked right back out. Hey this place was hard to find, but once we saw where to go things came together faster than a deer hop even drunkard.

Standing in line and watched as a postal employee chewed out a customer for interrupting him. Rude as heck! His attitude was condescinding. The customer was just trying to understand the process.

One employee. 15 customers. The other "post offices" in this city all appear to be annexes where you cannot buy postage. Do better Jacksonville postal service. A lot better.

Every time I call to complain about the mailman no one answers. They are always putting our mail in someone else's mailbox. First it was my bed frame they wrote the wrong address on the slip and box. Then they stuck my package on the wrong porch and to top it off they sent my mail back to sender saying not right address are you kidding me it would be the right address if you stuck it in the right mailbox smh

The best and most consistent federal post office in Jacksonville. Has all your mailing needs and good customer service. Wouldn't recommend the other post offices.
