I have adopted senior cats and they all needed special care, Dr. Howard is always so kind and takes time to explain everything to us. Our one dog was recently diagnosed with kidney diseas. Dr. Howard was quick to get us to the right people and place. My husband and myself feel very secure about taking our pets to Carolina Forest Animal Clinic and Dr. Howard has been a blessing to us. can't recommend him and his staff enough.”

“It took a few hours, but with any walk in place that is always expected. My dog was sick and I’m glad he could be seen. The cost was definitely reasonable compared to other vets in Jacksonville. My large pitbull has bad anxiety, and tends to freeze. The vet tech carried him back to the waiting room after his treatment, and did not even complain. I felt so bad! I didn’t get her name, but she was great. Most vets try to convince me to get extra services, or embarrass me for my dogs anxiousness. I’m so appreciative that they were so understanding, and truly seemed to care for my dog. All of the staff were great and the doctor was awesome.”

Our dog is a sweet boy, but has extreme anxiety that makes it challenging to do anything for him, but Dr. Macfarlane and every vet tech we worked with were beyond amazing. They were patient, kind, and compassionate. They ensured our dog was comfortable during his visit and really took the time to discuss his health with us.We are so happy to have found them and we are excited to continue our dogs health care with them!! 12/10 recommend!”
