The only thing that sucks more than this Walgreens are the employees that work inside.

Worst Walgreens ever. Always a line halfway across the store for the pharmacy. Never go here again

The drivethrough is maddening. There is no reason sitting in line should take 10-20 minutes regularly. Have the Chick Fil A team come train Hire a dedicated window person. And going inside 1- defeats the point of a drive thru pick up.2 In most cases, has never been quicker.

Electronics people are good usually but except for some stragglers. Most know where nothing is. 2 to 4 people in outdoors but can't say hello and work a register. Said closes to whatever time. I was there at 4:30pm and closed with 2 employees one said I'm a door greeter. Unbelievable...I was looking for rock salt due to bad weather and only one of 6 knew and I was really close but automotive was all I got. Pool supplies front and center as soon as you walk in. Must be 43 check out lines one or two open. Most employees roam around or just on there phones. Things aren't where they're labeled in store when a employee checks. I have my phone and picture says in stock. If you order ahead then they can replace items ordered with something else. Christmas and Christmas section closed for check out. You want a big tree carry it 200 yards to check out. Bags of soil even farther. Worst parking lot to get out of ever. It's like a walgreens corner of crazy with no lights.

absolutely unacceptable! this pharmacy is always backed up and takes forever. it takes forever to get connected to an actual human working there. I wish they would've told me that they were so backed up, like 200 prescriptions backed up... I would've transferred my sons meds elsewhere! The doc send his antibiotics there at 10am Friday and it still said processing all that day and then Saturday morning still processing! like my poor child is in pain and doesn't feel good and they don't have the decency to tell me that won't get it done by the end of that day! so frustrating! and then finally connected to a human at 12pm Saturday and they say oh still processing we have 200 before your child but we'll get it done in 30 min. like wth?! thank god I called or else who knows how much longer I'd be waiting. never going here again!

If I could rate them zero stars I definitely would. They never answer the phone. I called to ask about pricing on a prescription as the app does not state the price. Called and the machine said there were three callers ahead of me so I waited, when it was finally my turn, I heard someone pick the line up and before I could say a single thing place it on hold. It then started ringing again until the line dropped. A total of 45 minutes on hold just to be hung up on. When I go into the pharmacy, if you’re waiting in line and they’re busy doing something else, they avoid eye contact in order to not help you. Earlier in the month I went in to fill a prescription for my son, they stated that they had to wait to fill it and to come back in 45 minutes. I came back an hour later for them to tell me I had to wait another 45 minutes because it was a controlled substance and the pharmacist had to get it. Which is the same excuse I had gotten an hour prior. I’m changing my pharmacy since Walgreens has proven to be inept. Three strikes and you’re done.

Kuddos to the Pharmacy staff. The facility is to small for the volume of business they are doing. Management needs to separate the lab/vaccine folks from the prescription customers. Wait times are too long. The staff has shown patience and professionalism, however. There is not enough representatives on the registers. Not enough space to sort the filled prescriptions which wastes precious time. This is a very busy branch. Walgreens corp it time for an upgrade.

Without a doubt the worst pharmacy ever. To the point to where they should be investigated. After waiting in the drive-thru for two and a half hours I was told at 17:45 that my prescription that was supposed to be ready at 14:00 still wasn’t ready and I needed to come back in 40 minutes. I returned 40 minutes later and proceeded to wait longer. While waiting, the pharmacist working the drive thru asked the main pharmacist if a combination of two drugs was okay to take together which she promptly responded, “sure, I don’t care.” She took no time to listen to which two medications she was being asked about. That’s quite a dangerous thing to be fooling around about. Then, she proceeded to joke about it with the other employees. Extremely problematic, dangerous, unprofessional, and horrible staff with horrible wait times and consistent issues with “insurance” hold ups, “lost” prescriptions, etc..

This rating is for the store. I've never used this pharmacy. The employees in the store are nice and courteous, but their prices are outrageously high.

Slowest and most incompetent pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. Every month my wife has to call and negotiate to get her Meds because they mess something up with the insurance. And speed? Forget about it. I’ve been currently in line in the drive through for 20 minutes and there was only 3 cars in front of me. I’m down to one more car and I hope I can get out of here in the next 20 minutes. None of this is an exaggeration and I deal with it every month and it’s always the same. Time for a new pharmacy.UpdateAfter spending a total of 30 minutes in line with only 3 cars in front of me they told me the meds would not be ready until tomorrow after my wife had received the text that they were ready for pick up. That place is a circus. I want to use different language but I’m keeping it PG.

Since we were going to be at Onslow beach on a 30-day vacation, we had my wife’s doctor send here prescription to this Walgreens on 6/30/2023 to be filled on 8/2/2023. On 7/1/2023, I checked her Walgreens account to ensure that the prescription was in their system and it was. Fast forward to 8/2/2023. I go online and submit the RX to be filled. We get to the store and there’s a very slow moving line inside the store. It seems that every customer has an issue with their prescriptions. At this point we’re really missing our small community pharmacy in Shelby, NC. We finally get to the counter and the clerk says that they can’t fill the prescription as they don’t have enough stock as this product is on back order and they don’t expect to receive any until 9-days from now. We’ll be heading home in 6-days. She said that they just received the prescription today, which was untrue. She went to check to see what the “truck” delivered this morning and of course there was none. She suggested WE call other local pharmacies to see if they have enough stock to fill the RX, then WE can call our doctor to send a new RX to that pharmacy. When we call the doctor’s RX refill line, we leave a voicemail and hope that they will send a RX in within the next 24-hours. BTW, this is a common controlled medication; therefore, the prescription cannot be transferred to another pharmacy. So, we ask if they can give us a partial refill to get my wife by until we get home in 6-days (24-pills). Clerk goes to talk with the pharmacist. 10-minutes later, she returns to announce that the pharmacist WAS able to fill the prescription after all. Huh?! So, how were they able to find more pills that they initially said they didn’t have in stock? This ordeal created unnecessary stress for us, especially my wife. We’ve used various Walgreens locations during our travels and other than having to wait a little bit, we usually leave with our prescriptions filled without any drama. This was the worse experience we’ve ever had at a Walgreens pharmacy and will never use this location again. I feel for the other customers yesterday that were being turned away due to the staff’s incompetence. I’m glad we stood our ground. The inconsistencies in the statements they made is disturbing. Just do your job and fill the valid prescriptions and stop the obvious lies!I strongly suggest a small community pharmacy. You’ll be glad you did. There’s never a waiting line, they work with your insurance, our prescriptions are ready when we arrive, and the staff is pleasant, respectful and helpful. Plus, there’s never any lies. The only possible drawback is many of them don’t accept discount cards like GoodRX, but their prices are usually very reasonable and may beat the discount card prices anyway.

0 STARS. Simply the worst customer service in combination with the wait times. I am absolutely bewildered as to how their management has not been removed yet. I hope this Walgreens can figure it out soon because this is just embarrassing.

This pharmacy has lost a script, given me someone else’s medication, sat in the drive through for 45 minutes for a medication called in 8 hours earlier, no med was filled. This is the worst Walgreens ever!
