From the parking lot to the aisles, this store is just gross. Our Taki's were 7 months past expiration, I'll be bringing them back. Always look at expiration dates I guess, because their employees clearly do not. Good luck.

Before today, I would have given this store a 3 or 4 star rating. Why? Because up until today, the staff were pleasant (or at least not unpleasant) and the store was well stocked and fairly organized.
After today, I would give this store a 0 star rating if I could.
Why? Well, today, I went in to make a purchase, and because we are preparing to move, I looked for a box in the recycled box cage (as I have done MANY times before, both here and at other DG stores in 3 states). Brian (store employee) approached me, interrupted me, and demanded that I put the box back. He stated that it is DG Policy that they CAN'T give boxes away, that they are REQUIRED to recycle them. This is not true - I looked the policy up and while they typically recycle boxes their stock comes in, there is no policy that used boxes can't be given away. When I came back into the store to get his name for my review, he got aggressive, and tried gaslighting me, asking me what he had done to upset me, WHY was I so upset?... I told him that I was not upset, that I was just preparing to write a Google review that he refused to give a single, used box away, to a veteran and family who is preparing to move. He scoffed at the mention of veteran, and then followed me outside and watched me drive away. My advice is, don't shop here if you can avoid it. There are plenty of other Dollar stores in the area, including other Dollar Generals.

Closed 2 hours before they are supposed to. Lights on sign on the door says open everyday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. but the door is locked and the employee wouldn't even acknowledge an emergency

Since they have employed a new manager and did a complete new layout of the store, I do not mind shopping in this store. The staff is always helpful, courteous and friendly. Rarely do you see the isles packed with stock waiting to be put on the shelves (like the other DG). The store is always clean.
