Please AVOID AT ALL COST!I had such a bad experience trying to cancel my membership. The gym itself works just fine, but when you try to cancel your membership for any reason you will get screwed up. I called them to request my membership cancellation and they told me everything was set and that I was going to receive a confirmation email after 2-3 business days, I didn’t and decided to call them back. To my surprise, they said I had to send an email back to them at the moment I did my request to be able to proceed with the cancellation (this was never mentioned during my first call). So they charged me an extra month, a new “maintenance fee” and “late payment fee”. Why would I have to pay a maintenance fee if I did everything needed to cancel my membership a month prior to this??? Anyways, please do yourself a favour and don’t waste time and/or money at this gym.

Great and friendly gym. Only downsides are pool being closed and the amount of dust/dirt. Definitely needs a deep clean.

Great gym for the truly dedicated. Casual fitness is not to be found here. These folks are serious about lifting and getting fit. Everyone is welcome unlike other gyms nearby. Definitely give this place a try. You won't be disappointed. Looking forward to the coming upgrades!

I hate that the membership prices increased. I know they are under new management but the big draw for me was the previous M2M membership for $35 that no longer exists. The previous owner also offered a discount through my employer. I contacted the new owner months ago to see if the discount would continue and no response. Very disappointing!

Get a decent workout if you focus on you and your own maintenance.

I’ve been a member of Gold’s Gym for a while now, and while there are aspects I appreciate, there are significant areas where improvement is needed. One of the biggest drawbacks is the state of the equipment. Much of it feels outdated, and I’ve noticed that some machines are in dire need of repair or replacement. This is not only an inconvenience but also a safety concern. The basketball court, a key feature for many of us, also shows signs of aging. The flooring has lost its grip, making it potentially hazardous during games. The hoops and backboards are showing their age too, and an upgrade here would greatly enhance the experience.Another major issue is the gym’s operating hours. In today’s fast-paced world, having 24-hour access is almost a standard expectation, especially for those of us with unconventional work hours. Limited access restricts our ability to maintain a consistent workout routine, which is disappointing for a gym of Gold’s caliber. In conclusion, while Gold’s Gym has the potential to be a top-tier fitness destination, it’s falling short due to outdated equipment and limited accessibility. Investing in modern equipment, refurbishing the basketball court, and extending operating hours are crucial steps needed to meet the expectations of current fitness enthusiasts.

Will change the rating to a 4 if they reopen the pool and sauna. Gym is nice but they recently got rid of a bunch of their elliptical machines and treadmills the other week. My friend and I always do 30 minutes of cardio together before lifting weights and now it can be tricky to get two open ellipticals next to each other. The machines are sometimes broken which I know happens to everyone but they can be slow to be repaired. Could be a little cleaner but overall I enjoy going there. I just miss the pool and sauna terribly

Be careful with this particular location gym membership!! GM refuses to cancel gym memberships.Ive cancelled 3 times after today. And once a year I get a late payment due request or it will be applied in collections.

Please do better helping customers who try to CANCEL their membership. Don’t just leave them there and try to ignore the situation. Otherwise, the manager is great and really helpful. But the staff need to be more helpful

I love this location, all of the trainers, and the classes they offer. They are an encouraging, supportive, and clean facility. I'm so grateful to be a member. The fee is very affordable, and they offer great customer service. It upsets me to read petty, negative reviews when I know better.

Insane amount of equipment here. 5 bench presses and endless arm and leg machines. Very well equipped gym for the price. And they have there own little supplement shop. Glad to find a gym thats not filled with treadmills. It is a little dirty though.

Expensive membership that comes with 0 perks. I had brain surgery last year and they wouldn't let me suspend my membership. I do NOT recommend.

I got a call yesterday that there is an issue processing my payment with Gold’s Gym this month. I walked in and said I wanted to resolve the issue and make the payment. The woman at the front desk was processing my payment but I also told her I wanted to cancel my membership. She said okay, gave me my card back and put a paper on the desk in front of me without saying anything and then started texting while I’m standing there confused. I asked what the paper is, she said “well don’t you see on top it says cancellation? Fill it out!” and she started texting again. I asked her if she could put the phone down and talk to me about it and she said “I don’t have time for this s#*t!” I asked to speak to a manager and she said no one is there. When I asked for the phone number of a manager or another associate to talk to, she refused to talk to me anymore. I stood there for about 45 mins and she was on the phone seemingly angry and crying with her boyfriend and then just texting the whole time and refusing to talk to me while I was still waiting. Another customer even came to ask her something and she ignored them too.I will be taking this matter higher and speaking to manager and whoever else I need to.

Our go-to gym. It is great for people who like powerlifting training. They have a lot of free weights. 2 squat rack and 2 Smith machine for all your compound movement needs. Never tried any fitness classes, but they seem great.

Clean, affordable, and usually not too terribly busy but has an annoying lack of equipment like extra barbells and benches. ONE power rack for the entire gym and one free squat rack. The rest is all smith machines. You'll sometimes wait 20+ minutes just to get on the only deadlift platform. Also not the biggest deal but zero 35 lb plates and no one puts their plates away here.
