“Would give more, but the bathroom was filthy. The restroom was covered in pubic hair after an employee walked out. While the rest of the staff were relatively friendly afterwards, that same employee who walked out of the restroom proceeded to insult a customers autistic child. I was shocked and appaled by this employees behavior and will not come back.”
“I love the way it is set up now. It's an adventure trying to learn where everything is again but worth it. I think the isles have a little more space, and check out is so much better. Some people don't like self check out, but I love it. I am not patient at all, so doing it myself with no wait is perfect. I also like the fact that the new system will let you know if an item is recalled. My Vienna's had been recalled, and the system would not allow me to even scan it alerted the store associate, who was also very nice and helpful. New Dollar General is a 5 for me.”
“So far every employee that I've dealt with has been tactful. None were tripping over themselves to try to be the most helpful or efficient either. But for what DG Hays their employees is absurd. Even if you are a manager., Your pay is insulting. Taking that into consideration I would have to say overall surprisingly I would give it a little better-than-average”
“Larger selection of items than they used to have but the staff is rude, pretentious, and will ignore you even as you're checking out and paying. Would go back for the items, but don't expect friendly service from the staff”
“I live in Ronda and I go to the Dollar General a lot. I'm usually in and out fairly quick. They do have really busy times that you may have to be in line for a bit. But overall the people are nice and have always answered any questions I have had. They have had times they were out of milk but lately they have everything I needed and wanted at a good price I have been to many many Dollar General in a lot of different areas and it definately is far, far from the worst and with a little work , could make it the best. But as before It is a great place to get what you need , close to home at a good price.”

“I love Dollar General. I actually have saved quite a bit of money there. Only problem I have is the stores are always in such a mess and too much stuff for a small store. Build them a little bigger.”
“After going to my closest Dollar General store, which was a fiasco because they closed 20 minutes early. I was able to obtain the propane tank I needed to heat my home for the night because this Dollar General was actually following their hours of operation. The cashiers were extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this dollar store over any other dollar store in the area.”
“Service was remarkably good. She was cheerful,helpful,caring and very kind. She not only made the atmosphere cheerful by the jokes she made,she made sure we got a quality product due too the product we chose looked damaged. She then went to the shelving that stored the product and picked up all the bad one's and discarded them for there unfit quality to customers. In summary she made us laugh,make sure we got quality product,disposed of bad product and generally got us in a good mood. This is quite impressive to be so nice and cheerfull not even an hour into her shift. I believe she should get some sort of raise or a promotion. This happened on Monday july 21st at 8:50. Very good experience.”

“Employees are friendly and very helpful every time I shop here. I enjoy the color dot/square sales greatly and the merchandise on dollar isle are always something that I or one of my family members can always use.”
“Great selection with friendly staff. The only thing I didn't like was there was a lady restocking the shelves that had pretty loud Hispanic music playing along with a long container blocking the aisle so I had to look at one side and then go around to look at the other side. Just aggravating really but the music was the worst part.”

“I had the best experience at this Dollar General on 10th of December 2021. I was Christmas shopping for all of my grandkids and needed to check price on everything and needed recommendations. The sweetest cashier helped me and loaded all my items into my cart after. She was patient and amiable. I will begin to shop at this Dollar General more.”
