The Tobacco Farm Life Museum is located in Kenly, NC. Admission was $10 but when I checked in on Yelp it had a deal for $5 admission! We watched a 15 minute or so video when we first arrived that went over planting tobacco, harvesting it and preparing it to sell. There was a lot to it. While the museum's focus is on the tobacco history, it also covers agriculture; medicine; education; and general life in the area. Some of the museum is inside the main building and there are buildings outside that you can enter or peak into. I highly recommend visiting this museum.

What a kool lil museum. I ain't a smoker but the process was interesting. Don't skip the 15 minute video at the beginning. It was pretty informative on the process. Lots of artifacts from times past. The property has a few buildings scattered about. The best part was the blacksmith Dakota, WOW, he was so kool. Loved all his explainations about his trade. He made me a few things too.

We had a wonderful field trip today. Thankful for heritage, hard work, and preserved history.

Much cooler than we expected. The kids had an entire kitchen to play with in the middle of the museum, so the adults could read and explore at their own pace. The historians at each building were incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and fun to listen to. We saw an apprentice blacksmith make an S hook and got to tie tobacco for drying.

Alright place, for $10 for what they had. There were a couple interactive things to do inside and a kids station. They had a lot of vintage farming equipment and history behind the farm. Especially when it came to early farm life, school, living and health. They do a light display around Christmas time which the staff said it was nice. Will have to check it back out if I'm in the area. You can also walk around the farm and look at the other buildings one of them is an old school house which is cool to visit.

Highly recommend the Tobacco Farm Life Museum for any event! We recently held our wedding reception on the grounds and everything turned out amazing! The director Melody was very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed before the big day. The grounds are well kept and perfect for capturing great pictures. No need for tons of decorations because the grounds give enough natural beauty!Alot of people do not realize you can have events here, and it is a true hidden gem!!!

This is a neat place to see a lot of interesting facts about tobacco farming. I gave it 3 stars because I felt 8.00 per person was a little high for what they have. But overall I would recommend this place ☺️

Little spendy ($8 a head) for what it is but guess it costs $ to maintain the grounds. Nicely maintained displays interesting to see how things were done and people lived. Lot of work went into farming for those cigarettes if you got the time and money worth a stop.
