  They sold us a truck and the check engine light came on a month later. We have already replaced the transmission and have only owned it 8 months. I understand we bought it as is. He said a mechanic inspected, but I highly doubt it.

  Buyer beware. I purchased a jeep in early July, on November 2nd the piston played peek-a-boo through a hole it made in the side of the engine. As is means exactly that, I understand. But why wouldn't you want to help in some way? "sorry man, nothing I can do for you." That's all I got out of him..
