Super cute stuff for girls . Everything was 20% off which was nice. Still pricey $$ but not bad for surf shops . Got my girls some cute sun glasses for 22 bucks

I’ve loved this store for too long to give it a bad rating, but lose the VA Beach shirts at this location. Need complete size runs on the 17th St branded tees wall. It’s just the leftover smalls that are going to sit there forever. Call in the merchandisers. I want to spend money next time.

I come to this area all the time and every time I go to this tshirt shop just because I like the tshirts! I was excited talking to my husband about them the kid at the counter goes “ people act like this is cali or something” I think he was having a bad day and was upset we were happy! I should have just walked out and not gave any business to this store but I still bought something. Check your employees! Like people don’t go places to visit and like it. Ruined my whole trip honestly

After going to all the surf shops on my windbreaker hunt 17th street surf shop had the best customer service out of every shop in the OBX we visited.

Have been coming to this store for years and every time I'm disappointed by the lack of customer service. Throughout the entirety of our visit, we were not once greeted by an employee. The boy with frosted tips did nothing but give us dirty looks and the blonde girl passed by us four different times, and never said anything.

First time buying a fiberglass skimboard. Staff was very helpful with advice and helping with anything I needed. Extremely positive experience! Much appreciated

Listed closing time as 8pm. Parked our cars and walked up to the doors at 6:49. A girl locked the doors and laughed as we walked up to the door. No hey sorry we are closing early today or any customer friendly attempt to let us know that maybe even the Google listed close time was inaccurate. It was weak, I expect that kind of treatment from a McDonald's. If you're short staffed our there was an issue we would be cool and come back tomorrow but to get laughed at will only keep us away for the foreseeable future.

Saw all the signs on the doors asking customers to stay safe and wear masks so obviously my husband and I were glad to see a company support keeping others safe and healthy. Upon walking in, not one of the (at least) 6 employees were wearing their masks, all of them had them pulled down under their chins. We were not greeted and it almost seemed that us coming in to the store at 3pm was an inconvenience to them. They continued to have their personal conversations and play on their phones. Not once did anyone working there talk to us or ask if we were finding everything ok. They weren’t biased tho, I noticed they wouldn’t speak to or greet any customer in the store. Not really looking to spend money at a store that doesn’t really care about their customers. Drove a mile down the street and found a much more friendly surf shop.

Immediately fell in love with the place as we were welcomed by the shop dog! You have my business if I’m greeted by a dog. So many options and styles to choose from. First time in the Outer banks and this is by far my favorite surf shop out of all the others! This is definitely the best place to shop for surf stuff!
