Autumn and Michael are awesome! I was trying to get insurance on my vehicle and the dealership was wanting all this information. I was getting so confused going back and forth, so Autumn just took over and dealt with the dealership herself! They are both so personable and friendly!!

Autumn, I need a document showing that I gave you $2000 in cash which you insisted on, while I was in a hospital in Richmond from a morning car crash heading to my house Nags Head. I have no policy, which you insisted had to be paid in cash, plus you used your illegal minion David Reyes who came to my hospital room uninvited 3 days after I had the accident with his family with little kids!!! and you were the only one who would do this! I almost died and you think I want visitors who I don't know.I think you saw this as an opportunity to manipulate me, your client. You sent David Reyes who you said was "the most honest man I ever met", so you recommended him as a contractor to replace Don (who was great but had to leave for persnal reasons). Well, David stole from me, at both my homes (in VA as well), and cost me $2300 for my destroyed car because he lied about going to see it in the lot, as I requested and said I would pay him. He came back to the hospital and said the car was destroyed. HE NEVER WENT to the towing yard. A friend followed up and found out from the owner that David lied. You read this, woman, because,you are responsible for putting him in my life then manipulating him to do your bidding. I paid him for work he never did in my house while I was in the hospital. After I got out of two hospitals after 5 weeks, he showed up on a Sat morning unannounced. YOU KNEW THIS. The fact that you admitted to being his phone contact while he crossed state lines (sat outside my house talking to you) and brought only 2 of my 4 cats that he stole from my house, after breaking in, and calling me at the hospital at 9 pm to tell me (why didn't he ask me - I had a friend taking them the next day). You are a monster. And pretend to be this church going lady who is such a good person. You asked me if you should get a lawyer years ago. More importantly, get a soul. All the money you and your thieving minion cost me are nothing compared to what you'll pay in the afterlife. I'm not done with you. I want a copy of my policies for 2020 and 2019. Don, the previous contractor told me that since I had a renters policy it should have paid out. At the time it happened, I asked you when my house was destroyed by renters and you said no. So explain why it didn't cover the destruction which was horrible (Video taken). Just because I was incapacitated for a year should not be a reason for you not fulfilling your commitments as an insurance agent. Your refusal to even go over and take a key "it's a conflict of interest", your words, are just a cover up for your lack of character and professionalism. You simply didn't want to jeopardize your relationship with David Reyes since he was working for you peronally and you could use him for your clients as well. You implied that he was an illegal person when I said I was going to find out, and you said "you don't want to go that route". Do you want to lie and say you didn't say that? By the way, I found out that Lloyd's of London is a last resort insurance. Why did I have to have that? I think you took advantage of my hospital stay (5 weeks) and continuing rehabilitatoin for a year to just forget it. Well, I will never forget it. And finally, I want you to know that David Reyes tortured an old cat to the point that I had a call while I was in the second hospital from Manteo director of the shelter saying that David had dropped off a cat and blamed me! it was my mother's cat, almost 20 years old, and he was in hideous condition due to David's neglect despite me telling him if anything happened to any of the cats he stole, please have them humanely put to sleep and I would pay the bill gladly. BUT your "most honest man" was a monster, just like you, and let my last remembrance of my mother, suffer a horrible, long death. Miss Autumn @ Aydlett Insurance thinks bc she's been in the business so very long because she is older that she can talk however she wants and accuse people of being rude when she's the mean one. We sent in a request for Evidence of Insurance 2 days ago, followed up today. She told me she'd been working with someone last month and this and that and she goes on and on complaining and telling her stories which I really didn't care much for. I called to get the EOI that I requested from her two days ago which she said she never received so I sent her another request. She called back, again, telling her stories about how she'd never met the client and she doesn't do business like that. Well, honestly I don't really care, all I need and my purpose is to get the EOI so we can close the loan for the Customer. It's her business if she wants to call the customer or meet them or whatever then that's her choice. Then she talked over me, got loud on the phone and hung up. So who's rude now? Gosh, this is 2019, please get out of your shell and be more diverse. Maybe you live in a small town and you think this is how you can talk to people because you're older? Well, listen lady, you won't be getting any business talking to people like that. This is a new generation. No need to get loud or yell on the phone then hang up so you are the only person who gets the last words before rudely disconnect with the other person on the phone! If this is how you guys do business, no one will give you referrals. Especially not Lenders.

Initially, everyone was pleasant, including Autumn (boy was I in for a surprise) - understandable as they were getting my business. Trouble started when Michael quoted me a price of car insurance back in early 2011 - and I paid the full amount for 6 months of coverage then and there. HOWEVER - my insurance was CANCELLED a few weeks later after the insurance company realized they had misquoted me and I owed more on my policy (I had paid $300 something, and they had said I owed $100 more). I did not receive ONE phone call, email, or letter from the insurance company or Aydlette Insurance. In a small town, I would have hoped that my agent would call me and say "Hey - we misquoted you a price, so don't forget that you owe more or else your insurance will be cancelled." Not only did I not receive that, when I called their office to ask why I had heard nothing from them, I received nothing less than a screaming lecture from Autumn Melson. She treated me like I was a delinquent teenager and accused me of not paying my bills. She literally SCREAMED at me, upset because I was frustrated that I hadn't received any notification of a cancelled car insurance policy and blamed her company for not notifying me. I promptly took my business elsewhere and have recommended that all others do so too.
