This place never answers the phone and when they do they say "please hold" before you have time to say anything and then never come back to take the call that they put on hold in the first place. Very frustrating. We will be moving our business to another local bank . Thank you

Ms. Tillett at Truist is a true profession. A man from Florida and I met at the bank, and she helped with a cashiers check and notarized all the paperwork. Florida and NC do things differently, but she quickly walked us through it.

One of the most pathetic displays of customer service I've ever seen in my life! I stopped by this branch on 1/25/24 and was greeted by Nicole Tillett, "Hello, what can we do for you today." I started speaking and before I could even finish a sentence, her personal phone rang. She stuck her finger up to me and said "Wait!" She picked up her phone and started speaking. I was speechless!! Where did you find this clown?? Who made the poor choice to have this person be the face of your business and interact with customers?? Obviously, I won't be back. The customer service on display at Truist is an empty shell of the service provided by the bank they took over. It's sad!!

I was with BBT when they transitioned to Truist and I have been absolutely happy with them. Their security measures have stopped two different attempts at fraudulent charges to my account. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend.

Tried to make a car payment but forgot the checkbook while we were on vacation. Apparently they don’t do counter checks anymore which I thought was nuts. Teller was nice but couldn’t help us. Offered to use a withdrawal slip to make payment but that won’t work for business accounting purposes as there wouldn’t be a paper trail, it would just show up as withdrawal slip, because ‘hello’ that’s what a withdrawal slip is. I know it wasn’t this locations fault but at the same time we left with no solution and the payment not made which is why I rated 4 stars. Note: both loan and checking account at Truist but in different names, business account to loan in personal name.

The fees are high, they place excessive holds on deposits, and I had the same fradulent charge twice on my account and they didn't catch it. I'm going back to TowneBank!

Consistently make errors, deposit checks into incorrect accounts, and put THEIR checks in for overnight hold. Have to ask specifically for checks to be cashed and then deposited. When they forget to it's just to bad, because their system will not let them adjust errors made by tellers after 15 minutes.It's very frustrating.

I'm giving one star because they closed the Kitty Hawk branch (which was much more convenient to my office at the bridge) and this is now the ONLY location in Dare county! This means that wait times are much longer as customers have no other option but also now we have to drive further than we used to (like gas isn't expensive enough!) I'll certainly be banking elsewhere in the very near future and hope many others do the same, "Truist" has made banking so inconvenient here.

Dana is awesome. She was extremely busy for my appointment but managed to find time after another employee made my experience there extremely annoying. I give Dana 5 stars. She was one of the most composed and friendly people there at this chaotic bank. the 2 stars is for the other employee who apparently wants to make my life difficult every time I'm there. Lame

I've been banking with BB&T for over 30 years and have visited many branches in Virginia and North Carolina and this branch is by far the best branch I have ever done business with. Staff here are very professional, incredibly knowledgeable but more importantly, they are personable and friendly and always have smiles on their faces. Keep up the good work BB&T KDH.

I’m raising my initial review from 1 star to 5 only because Meredith now works here. My wife and I both had bad experiences here but hopefully that’s in the past.
