J.R. went above and beyond locating a specific gasket instead of the entire fuel pump while I was in OBX vacation. Due to shipping time and end of vac I chose to limp the car home. At home NOBODY could find the part and tried to sell me the entire full pump. I called JR hoping he remembered me and could locate the part number. He not only did that, but called the dealership with the exact description and part number. 20 bucks instead of $1000.00. They just dont make enough people like JR anymore. Carquest hired a great employee and an even better person in JR. I will be sure to stop back in during next years visit to appropriately express my gratitude.
Thanks J.R. you did yourself proud!

We had a check engine light come on and we needs to get a code read. I went to Auto Zone and the employees there couldn’t figure it out. Next I went to Carquest where they were super helpful and a young gentleman read our code in a minute and told me exactly what was going on. I then bought the parts I needed to fix the car. I bought the parts there for a reasonable price and they let me borrow tools and I was able to fix the car in 10 minutes time and feel confident we can drive another 3,000 miles back to California. These guys are great!

Recently bought an faulty part from this store. And the owner accused me of mus handling the product. The shop technician doing the work says it's a common problem! Wouldn't give me a new one or my money back! Terrible place to do business!!!!
Plenty of other places to do business in town!

Got up this morning and my truck wouldn't start..called when they opened and they sent the parts driver to give me a jump..I followed her to the store where they put in a new battery and would not accept any money for there time...Great Costumer Service...can't Thank Y'all Enough!!!

Needed to do an emergency repair while on vacation. Not only did they loan me the tools to do the work, they helped me break loose a lug nut I was not able to get. The local auto zone would not loan me tools and said I would have to buy them so carquest is the place to do business down here

Steve was amazing! He went above and beyond to help us with our alternator. We just so happened to pull right into carquest when our truck gave out and died. Thankfully, they had one alternator left that would fit. Very thankful we came here when we did! Everyone we encountered was so welcoming and nice. They helped us with code readers, battery jumpers, tools and more! Our truck is running great now. Thank you Steve! We appreciate you more than you know.

My family drives out to the OBX every June from Ohio. This year while driving through the mountains in Virginia, my car started having some minor acceleration issues. Calling around Monday morning to try to get someone to let me know if my car is going to blow up while driving home, everywhere was booked up basically till the end of the week. I called Car Quest and got to chat with Lee, and he told me I could come by anytime, same day! We headed over shortly after the call, met Lee and he came out and checked my car out for me right after walking in the door. He reassured me that everything was alright, got me set up with some oil and said we could pop by anytime the rest of the week if we had any other hiccups. Super friendly and fast service, will definitely give them a call if we have any other trouble on vacation going forward! They also have two of the BEST shop dogs around :)

Stopped by after a long drive from Ohio to get the car checked out. Lee, the guy who helped us out, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and we will go to him first with any questions or needs anytime we come to the OBX.
