The Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Nags Head Oceanfront is noted for its awesome location with direct access to the beach, an oceanfront bar, and an indoor pool and jacuzzi. Many guests highlight the great service from cooperative and pleasant staff, who are understanding and helpful. The beds are frequently described as very comfortable.
However, the hotel is not a five-star property and needs a face-lift. Rooms are often described as little older, needing a lot of attention, love, and updates, with signs of dampness, old carpet, and neglected bathrooms. Some furniture and balconies are old. The food and drinks receive mixed reviews; while the bar service and views are great, the restaurant food is frequently criticized for not being good and being too expensive for the quality. Additional charges, like for beach chairs, are noted. The location is ideal for beach relaxation with good walkability to some restaurants, though the area is quiet at night. Ramada is starting to show her age but what a wonderful set up. We had a wheelchair accessible room that has the best set up that we have been in. The staff are so nice and we met some very nice people here. View was great. Wonderful stay. Thank

Check-in was super easy and wonderful. The room was very clean and we enjoyed the hot tub. I really like the added boardwalk to the beach. Its a nice touch.
