“been going to these shops since I was a kid. We just tried duck donuts for the the first time last summer. Oh my goodness! The wait time in summer is CRAZY long so we no longer go in the summer. My family owns a rental in Corolla so we go down in the off season. Duck donuts is in and out in the off season so if you dont like waits and are around in the off season GO!! wait time was 5 minutes. and their donuts are crazy good and tons of flavors!! my husband liked the maple bacon. my kids and I liked the oreo one. but the flip flops were good too. I got 6 flavors. a dozen donuts. my family of 5 ate every single one in less than 24 hours ?
Parking: the lot right in front of duck donuts is small. fits maybe a dozen cars. but theres parking at the other shops right across the street maybe 30 yards away so its not terrible!
Kid-friendliness: space on the deck for kids to walk around and look at the Sound. Theres a little boardwalk type thing that goes behind where duck donuts is and goes down quite a ways and connects to the other shops.. People also use it for jogging. I know my kids loved running up and down it while we waited for donuts last summer!
Wheelchair accessibility: there is a ramp going up to all major buildings in the duck shopping center”
“Shop at so many unique shops, enjoy some delicious meals, watch the birds and enjoy a beautiful sunset reflecting off the waters of the sound. Must stop when we are in Duck”
“I've lived in and around Kitty hawk for over 30 years,iv had nothing negative to say. My reasons for this conversation is to inquire on the machine that is sitting at the south end of the parking lot that appears to be inevitable? Curious if you're looking to get rid of it”

“Love this spot in Duck. Nice to have an area to spend some time browsing shops close to the house. Lots of businesses that have been there for years that we look forward to visiting! Island Bookstore and Vintage Moon for sure! Sorry that Island Attic will be leaving but we hope to visit them in Avon next year.”

“This is a nice plaza . You've got Meekins Park next door. Little Caesar snack for kids while they play and adults shop. Belk is here in case you need a more tailored fit . Ladies ... Get your nails done. These folks are full of smile. Or have a nice little dinner out. Very quaint very nice. One stop shop. Love it!!!”
