Saturday Dec. 7th 2024. I was gathering bags of clothes from my home to donate. There were 5 bags total. Once I took them there yesterday afternoon around 2pm my wife and I got home later that evening around 8:30pm. My wife asked me to go get the bags of her winter clothes she had in the guest bedroom closet. I told her I had grabbed those bags and they were the bags that I had left in addition to the bags that were supposed to be donated. Since it was too late to call about the mistake that I made; I called as soon as they opened. I explained to the lady that answered what had happened and even gave a description of the bags having fist size holes torn in them. She told me they had already been gone through and processed for sale. Don’t even check to see if this was the case after asking if there was a way she could look to see if they in fact were still in the back. I’ll never donate to them again! They are dishonest and liars

I don't like the disorganized sizing system they have. You have to search for everything. All other stores have sizes organized.

Spent alot of money here today
The mexican girl refused us any bags or wrapping. My wife asked her and she just walked off and ignored us. Hey goodwill, how about hiring some people thats worth a damn. Wont be back here anytime soon.

Manager is rude always walks with an attitude he needs to go. The place is so dirty I seen roaches don’t shop here unless you want bugs in your home. The only good thing is the employees are always nice except the manager

I went to the Kinston store and I was planning to buy some stuff when I had to stop because I have a bowel disease that I can't help and when I have to go to the bathroom I need to go then not later.. well I went to the store manager and told her what the my situation was and can I please use there bathroom and that I have a card saying I'm allowed to.. SHE SAID NO...I SAID PLEASE and she said NO...so to make it short...I had to go nextdoor to McDonald's

Good stuff but the best stuff always seems to have sharpy written on them for the prices: Especially stuffed animals, purses, and coats and jackets. Why would you ruin stuff people WOULD buy IF it was all written on by Goodwill themselves? Get some plastic tags like the Salvation Army does if you're worried about people peeling price stickers off. They probably lose more money doing THIS than customers changing price tags.

I have found some nice blouses and shirts at this Goodwill location. I occasionally stop at the thrift store when I go out of town and the staff are very nice and they are very well stocked

I see that everything is organized by color but not by size who wants to spend all day. Looking for your size in a bundle of clothes. When it's easy to just separate the sizes. S,M,L, XL ,XXL or something similar.

Awful employees who care nothing for their jobs or the customers they serve.Update 2022: this location still has unhelpful, rude employees. This issue desperately needs to be addressed. Selection is also decidedly poor.
