Don't trust them. Mary Lou will tell you exactly what you want to hear in order to close the sale. Despite my pictures and requesting that they look at the job, they refused. When it came to install time, the problems I predicted became my problems because they wouldn't look at the job in advance. Chris quotes the contract stating that up-charges will occur for unforeseen circumstances. It's not unforeseen when I told you about it, showed you a picture, and ask you to come look. And despite what they tell you, they don't employ installers. They use the same independent contractors you would hire. The quarter round was garbage. Much of if unusable. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

I would recommend A&B Carpet One (and especially Amy) without hesitation. She answered all of my emailed questions promptly, ordered samples of a few colors the store didn't have, and arranged a timely installation. Most was done remotely. Just FANTASTIC customer service. But also: the carpet and padding! Sooo good. Made in the US, the carpet is stain-resistant and so, so nice. I am so glad someone recommended A&B; carpet elsewhere in the house doesn't hold a candle.

Amy was great to work with, easily accessible when needed and her suggestions were spot on for my application. Equally important, the installer arrived on the scheduled date, was efficient in his work and did an excellent job.

Update 04/14/22. After speaking again with Chris I am now very satisfied with the remedy to make things right and willingness to listen to my complaint and implement changes for future installations. I can now recommend A&B carpet as a company that is willing to do the right thing and address all customer service related issues.

Amy was amazing to work with. She narrowed our carpet options so it wasn’t so overwhelming. She kept me up to date on delivery and installation. Our install date was originally end of April but they were able to install early March before our rental season begins. The installation team arrived at 5:40 am!!!! They were finished shortly after lunch. I can not say enough good things about how professional and efficient they were. It’s not easy when you live in another state and try to manage a rental hours away, but this company makes it easy from start to finish. I highly recommend them!!

Amy and Chris were a huge help finding us a great match to our floors and coming out to measure our home. The gentleman who installed our kitchen back splash (Mike) was fantastic. It looks wonderful. Andi, who installed our floors, was incredible. It was a great experience all around.

Amy guided me through the different types of LVP and carpet to best fit my needs and it looks wonderful!! The installation guys were prompt, polite, and did a top notch job matching the shoe molding stain with my exisiting wood. I love my new floors and would highly recommend A&B Carpet.

Only thin they have going is a lack of other competing stores around. Marilu is the absolute Worst salesperson. Guy in back that works the warehouse is super helpful though Update 6/13/2021 Got a call from Amy to discuss issues I had and a couldn't have felt better about this company after speaking with her. I absolutely would use A+B again and would insist on meeting with Amy or Chris! Thank youAmy for the call

From start to completion working with A&B Carpet at Kitty Hawk was a positive experience. Friends recommended them and specifically called out Amy as being fantastic to work with. She was! Most of our business was over emails - with 1 in person meeting to solidify our carpet and flooring choices. The photos she sent us over the email along with prices, options, etc were just as she had described when we saw the samples in person. We were not on site for the installation but did see the results a few days after the installation and it was perfect. We could not be happier with the customer service, the products, and the installation. We will recommend A&B Carpet One Floor and Home to our friends. Vicki
