“The experience was so good coming here, I went with my girlfriend to make semi matching bracelets (same type just colors of our eyes) and it was such a great time, the owner was very attentive to us the entire time talking about how long the store was up and her experiences with running it, and she was very helpful with making the bracelets also. Overall would recommend, only disclaimer I will add it is pricey but with how quality the items feel it's worth it. If I ever need some more jewelry or want to make another bracelet will come back.

“My daughter and I have been visiting The Mystic Jewel for several years. It is one of our favorite places! This lovely store is full of beautiful things that will please your eyes and enrich your spirit. From the moment you enter the store (Corolla or Duck location!) you will sense how the owners have poured their hearts into their business. The items they sell have been lovingly crafted and curated, and the staff are always helpful and knowledgeable.

“Very cute place. Much bigger than it looks and it's absolutely packed with stuff. I'm not sure how much of it is local though. It seems like it's mostly mass produced things. Also they are open a little later than most of the other tourist-y shops which was good.”

“Very strong air freshener when you walk in so heads up to my migraine/allergy friends. Reasonably priced quality souvenirs. A lot of the franchise places have the same generic quality items but this store is different. One changing area like a cube not attached to any walls. Would be nice if it didn’t feel like an island with people walk around it on all sides.”

“First time in OBX and my husband and I see this place and stop in. Thinking it will be the same ole "pawn shop experience", oh, was I ever wrong!! What started as looking, went to talking, went to showing each other pictures of old cars. Then we were talking family and our daughter's and diamond's. Eddie is such a genuine nice guy. In the time we spent there today. I found a ring I just loved. He let me wear it around the store as I browsed his amazing collection of jewelry. And other odds and ends. After a hour or so. My wonderful husband buys me the ring. 100% would buy here again!! Without question. Thing is we are about 13 or so hours away. But I know without a doubt I could call.
