There is no wonder why this store has horrible reviews. The 2 women working tonight were rude and closed the inside of the store at 4 pm. We found this out when we tried to sit down and eat with our family. The older woman, who claimed to be the owners wife, said we could eat at the high top tables. This would have been impossible with a newborn. She then began arguing with me about how she doesn't deserve abuse and if I wanted her job I could have it, which I told her no problem I don't mind working for those that don't want to. She would not stop arguing i told her to call the owners and she refused. It's a good thing my husband was nice enough to continue ordering and pay. Otherwise, I would have walked out. The sandwiches were made wrong not by subway standards, veggies were not good and a sad amount. The men that own these subways are not bad people, it's a shame they can't get help from adequate workers. I would love for the owners to contact me, I'm a regular at the Nags Head store and that store doesn't have this kind of hostility. The people that manage it are personable and good natured. Definitely lost my business, I'm not going to be disrespected by women that don't care to do their jobs. If she can joust open and close the store as she feels maybe she should not be working there. They will end up just like the subway in manteo.

I stop by here quite frequently and I can confidently say this is one of the nicest and cleanest subways I've ever been to. Staff is incredibly friendly and professional, and my sandwich is always made perfectly. The bread always tastes fresh, and im always impressed by how nice the veggies look! Plus they slice most of the meat in house as well!Its amazing how they can continue to run this store so exceptionally while being extremely short staffed! I swear I see the same to girls work all day and night, it almost seems like theyre the only employees there! But despite that they are always so friendly and quick! Excellent job ladies, keep up the good work!!

Today is the second time I go to the place between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. and it's the second time they've told me that I can't eat there because they've already cleaned the tables and they don't want to clean them again because they want to leave early. I don't know if the owners or administrators agree with these policies. I went regularly in the mornings and the service was good, I even always left 20% in tips. But it seems that when the older lady is there, she serves the clientele very poorly.

Ordered online and can say I won’t go back to this subway. Ordered a chicken bacon ranch sub but you get one strip of bacon, 4 strips of chicken, and a handful of onions. Every bite is an over power of onions. App said it would be ready at 1255. Showed up and the sun was cold. I’ll stick to home made subs.

This was the second time visiting this location. The food was good both times. The second time was not as friendly. In October we got there about the same time but this time we were informed that they were closing so takeout only. They still had 10 or 15 minutes. The young ladies the first time were friendly and we enjoyed being there.

The front of the store is absolutely littered with cigarette buts. Inside of the store is hot and stuffy. The bathrooms have no toilet paper, paper towels, or soap. These are observations made after multiple visits. Management/owners are not keeping up with franchise standards.

Good food fast. We visit often. There have been days when there is only one guy working (possible the owner - finding reliable help is hard.) Anyway, customers were lining up, the phone was ringing, and the dude was just plugging away, taking orders, making sandwiches, ringing people out. And nobody had to wait too long. He does such a great job.

Look nice inside. Seems just remodeled. Too hot inside. All other SUBWAYS are cool enough for this hot weather. This Subway is too hot. You go inside to buy sub and sit in a cool and enjoy eating it but not enjoyable to eat in hot environment. Even for me.
