Wave Riding Vehicles is a surf shop in the Outer Banks, considered by many to be the best. They carry great new gear and all the latest styles, from casual to dressy. The staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and informative, providing helpful customer service. They point customers in the right direction for all their surfing needs, even swapping out items to better fit a customer's skill level and size. The overall experience is great, with a great selection that keeps customers warm, dry, and eager to return.
Last minute ski trip and needed some new bibs. I was pleasantly surprised that WRV had ski gear! A young man named Mitch, I think, was super helpful. My wife and I ended up with great new gear by Volcom. It kept us super warm and dry.

Overall great experience visiting wrv. A very kind young surfer helped me buy some cool new surfing supplies that helped me get barreled later that day. One may say Avery is the sole reason I am the surfer I am today. Thanks Avery for all your knowledge and expertise!

Probably the best surf shop in outer banks, specifically because of their great worker Avery who was so helpful! She pointed me in the right direction for all my surfing needs and can’t wait to come back here again next summer!
