I joined this gym a little under three months ago, completely out of shape, hadn't worked out in over two years, and was the heaviest I had ever been in my entire life. I was sick and tired of the reflection looking back at me in the mirror and I knew some changes had to be made.
Being a part of the recovery community has taught me the importance and the power of surrounding yourself with like minded people who are working to achieve a common goal. From my very first workout the Knightdale CrossFit community has been uplifting and encouraging as I SLOWLY start to make my way into some semblance of getting physically fit. The coaches have been diligent in aiding me in improving my form, holding me back from doing too much too soon to prevent injury, and are always highly encouraging to help me get better with every session. And in these ten weeks I'm starting to see improvement with my cardio, core strength, raw strength, and starting to get the correct movements in order. On top of that it is a great place to meet and connect with people in the community, to hopefully foster relationships that go beyond just working out and seeing each other at the gym.
If you have a desire to improve your fitness CrossFit Knightdale is the place to be. It's a full body workout, the community is very welcoming and every workout can be tailored to match your current fitness level. I've made up my mind that I am going to keep coming back regardless of how tired and sore my body feels, regardless of how many burpees (ugh!!!!) and 400m runs are on the workout of the day, and regardless of my other life obligations. It's been paying dividends so far. Can't wait to see where the journey takes me six months, one year, five years from now, etc. Don't struggle on your fitness journey by yourself. Come join some awesome people and some awesome coaches to help motivate and be mentored. LFG!!

I started at CrossFit Knightdale during COVID with zero CrossFit experience—had no clue what I was getting myself into. But Michelle, Brandi, and the whole crew welcomed me like family. No matter your size, shape, or skill level, they’ll hype you up and make sure you survive (and maybe even thrive). It’s not an overcrowded gym, the class times are flexible, and they actually help you through every workout instead of just letting you struggle. I recently moved, but I still make the drive because it’s THAT good. 10/10 recommend—just be prepared to leave sweaty but happy!

This is absolutely the best gym to go to if you want to make a positive change in your life. Your health matters, and it matters to the team at CrossFit Knightdale! Every coach has a vested interested in your wellness. They will encourage growth and challenge you to be the absolute best version of you. They will make time to talk before, during, and after class should you have any concerns about a routine and make any adjustments needed to assist you in moving forward. They have all the resources and knowledge needed to help anyone overcome their physical limitations. From Youth classes on Saturdays to having Senior members, everyone is welcome and everyone will grow under the caring watch of Coach Michelle and crew!

Love this place, just renewed for my fourth year. I’ve never stuck with any exercise program for more than 8 months until I found CrossFit Knightdale. The coaches, the community, the whole vibe is wonderful.

I’ve been a member here now for only 2 weeks and can already tell it’s been one of the best investments I’ve ever made for my physical and communal well being. Michelle and her team of highly qualified instructors have created an infectious environment that not only encourages collaboration, communication, integrity, and grit but also promotes opportunities to grow as individuals/families within a community.CrossFit gyms can be intimidating (and were to me) due to a stigma that follows the sport and televised skill levels, but what I’ve found is the organizations/boxes welcomes all people and supports athletes of every level through their commitment to continuous development.Couldn’t recommend CFK highly enough!

I have been a member here for 6 years and I will never leave. CrossFit really is a community and there is never a shortage of that here. People help each other, people support and encourage each other, and it’s just a good place. OrthoNC being there has also drastically improved my overall fitness and mobility.Grateful to be a part of such a clean, safe, and welcoming community.

I joined kinda defeated that nothing has worked for me before.I fell in love with the community, the competitions, and the fact that this is literally programmed for everyone from day 1 athletes to life long CrossFit members.I stay because every single coach at this gym cares, they put so much energy into caring for you and helping you set goals and grow.I’m so thankful for every single leader at this gym. It’s honest changed my life.

I have been weightlifting for years and never thought I would enjoy CrossFit, but I tried a few classes at CFK and fell in love with the workouts, the people, and the coaching. This is the most welcoming gym I have ever been to that will embrace you with open arms no matter what stage you're at in your health/fitness journey.
