This was by far the best eyecare/eyewear experience that I've ever had anywhere before in my life. I came into Visionworks in Knightdale expecting a regular routine eye exam and to purchase a pair of glasses. I was warmly greeted by Ava, the manager as soon as I entered the store. I arrived early for my appointment so she started showing me their wide selection of frames until it was time for my appointment. She was very helpful and explained my insurance allowances thoroughly and quickly convinced me into picking out not one but two pairs of frames. The eye exam was extremely thorough, but admittedly, I was a little skeptical when I found out the doctor was going to be virtual. Once it began, my worries were quickly put to ease. The doctor was great and very patient with me considering I hadn't had my vision checked in quite sometime, and it took some time to get my prescription honed in. This is where the service went to the next level. After selecting my frames and going through all the options for my lenses with Ava, she began to ring me up. I gave her my card for payment and she swiped it. The transaction authorized but wasn't captured by their system. She asked for my card again and swiped it again. I wanted to make sure I wasn't charged twice for my purchase so I checked my account on my phone. Sure enough I had been charged twice. Liz, a visiting manager, and Ava immediately were very apologetic and jumped into action with their tech support to try and get one of the authorizations canceled and return the money to my account. Unfortunately they found out that there was no way for the authorization to be reversed. I contacted my bank and they were also not able to reverse the authorization. Ava and Liz were so apologetic and reassured me that they were going to take care of the situation for me. After exhausting all other options they did something I never imagined. They refunded my entire transaction and told me that my glasses were going to be free. The error wasn't even their fault. I couldn't believe it. I've never had someone at a company treat me with such respect. I was more than amazed by their customer service. After refunding my transaction, Ava let me know that my glasses may take a few extra days because of the 4th of July, but they ended up coming in ahead of schedule. I couldn't be happier with my two new pairs of glasses. They're amazing. Ava and her entire staff were simply amazing. Visionworks in Knightdale will be the only place that gets my eyecare/eyewear business from here on out. They earned my respect and loyalty. Thank you again Ava and staff. You're the best!

Hey all! There is a new manager in town and I have to tell that changes are evident. There were smiles on faces when I walked in and, yes, an eagerness to help me out. I am tough on my prescription readers and was offered top notch advice and a cost effective solution I had not anticipated. Well done! Thank you!

I put one star because there is not zero starts option. This place is the worst I have ever visited. Don’t waste your time and money with them. I ordered my glasses with this people after a weird zoom appointment (yes, if you go to see a doctor, they will connect you with a a doctor via zoom). They say that the glades will be ready in one or two weeks. Two weeks later the order was still pending. I called and they say that it was an issue with the frame, it wasn’t available. So they said I will need to wait 2 weeks more. I asked for a copy of my prescription they said that they never send prescriptions by email. So I went in person to pick it up, thinking about order a cheaper para in other place while waiting my glasses. Two days later, someone called me from this company saying that there was an error with the measurement that one of his employees did during the sale. They asked me to come back in person to take new measurements. I was in another city, so I would need to go a week later to do so and then wait whatever it take to them to finally do my glasses. I asked to cancel and get a full refund. I’m still waiting for that and I don’t have glasses. I will never come back to this place.

I was skeptical about going to a chain store for eye care but was pleasantly surprised. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I didn’t feel rushed and was relaxed the whole time. GREAT JOB !!!

If only Google allowed 0 stars. First things first, I made my appt online and nowhere did it say Tele appt. I only saw that after I got the confirmation email. I still decided to go ahead and go, that was the biggest mistake. I waited 40 minutes past my appt time to get in. I had the rudest Dr I have ever met. I was asked how often I change my underpants, how often I washed my body, ect and her not moving forward until I answered even though I told her its none of her business. Then she refused to listen to what brand of contacts I like and have used for 10 years. Instead, she said "no, I don't care I'm not doing that" and now i have a bad brand that hurts my eyes. The store refuses to change the prescription too. The BIGGEST issue is that they called the day prior to confirm the appt and get insurance. I gave it to them and they said perfect everything is good. Well NOT AT ALL, they magically now do not accept my insurance (its eyemed everyone takes it). So, I left this store with bad contacts and $180 out of pocket. Avoid at all costs.

Got there at 10:15am for my appointment didn't leave the place till about 1pm...order glasses the same day Jan 19,2023 here it is Feb 6,2023 haven't got them yet. I have to keep calling asking what's going on. No response or calls to let me know what's going on.

I initially had some issues with the specials and the charges. Before you use them make sure you go over all of your options. Do they accept your insurance? If you have a printed coupon bring it to the store with you and make sure they know which deals you want, ask questions.I want it buy one, get one $99 progressives that didn't happen I had to pay for my eye exam when I have insurance that shouldn't have happened.My total bill was $512

Supposed to reopen at 2:00 after lunch with sign on door… it’s now 2:06 and no one has opened door yet! Just say what you’re gonna do and then actually do it! No one likes standing in the hot sun for someone to reopen and they’re taking their sweet time. No way to run a business… just pulled up, they left for lunch! ?♀️ no sense of urgency at all… now they have to clock in and I’ve been waiting since 1:50! Unacceptable at best

I have been a customer at visionworks in TX prior to coming to the Knightdale location and the service and professionalism in Texas was excellent. Knightdale location the communication is bad, no followup, one of the managers was rude to me due to problems with their software( I had to contact my insurance due to them not doing pre authorization before my visit even though it's the same insurance from TX). Then to top off the horrible service my order from the end of November arrived and no one bothers to call me(from end Nov 2022 to Jan 2023) I went to the Knightdale location( drove 25 min) in January they sent it back after 30 days with contacting me at all,even though it was paid for! The associate said I could wait another 7-10 days for another pair and the manager said she would give a refund ...no thanks I've tried contacting customer service and can't get through to a human being. I will NEVER do business with them again , they lost 3 customers for being unprofessional!
