Gift Shops
“Don’t blink or you’ll miss this fantastic little gift shop! Quite an assortment of fun holiday decorations made by a young 75 year old lady! Delicious and quite an assortment of apples!”
“This was a really cool shop, and I am thankful I stopped in to check it out. It literally has something for everyone! If you're looking for a unique, fun souvenir, I recommend you visit!”
“They have a little bit of everything, and an excellent selection at that! Great clothing options, camping/fishing gear, and good price points. It was raining hard today; my husband forgot his raincoat on our trip so it was nice to purchase one at a reasonable price and a couple towels for our wet dog. I also walked out with some awesome clothing; their brand selection is top notch.”
“Nice quaint little shop that was very holiday/seasonal themed with other clever items. Absolutely delicious sweets and friendly NON RACIST employees. I highly recommend this shop when visiting the Chimney Rock Village.”
“I love this place!! My family and I have been buying cider from here for at least 25 years. I will not buy cider any where else. Every one else's cider tastes like apple juice to me. Since they make it all fresh here, when you go will affect the flavor of the cider you get. The fresh cider tastes just like the apples that are in season. So if you like sweeter cider, go in late August and September to get cider that tastes like the Honey Crisp apples they put in the cider. If you like a more tart cider, go in October when the more tart apples like Granny Smith are in season. Or, better yet, go each month and get some because it is always amazing! You can get offseason cider, but they blend them all together for a more generic flavor.”
“This place is a must visit each and every trip.Best place and the best staff in Chimney Rock. Great selection of quality gifts and locally branded clothing. They love the historic pictures and to take pictures with the sasquatch! They also look forward to seeing Mr. Gale when he's in the shop.”
“One of the best Gift shops views that I have ever seenThis is a unique location that is not only in the Chimney Rock State park but it is only steps away from the Chimney Rock site. The ticket plaza for the park is about 2 miles inside the park and the cost for adults is $17. This may seem like a lot but there are several things to see and do in the park like this one. If you want to go to Chimney rock the easiest way is to drive up the mountain on very skinny switchbacked roads to the parking areas near the top. On busy days parking can get very limited so get there early or go on weekdays. This is one of the only parks that I have visited that offers visitors an elevator to the upper level. The elevator entrance is through a tunnel cut into a mountain that looks really cool. The shop is directly off the elevator on the way to the Chimney Rock. The shop offers lots of souvenirs as well as limited food items. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is seating right outside the store that gives people a spectacular view of the town way down below. I enjoyed the view, staff, and experience. I hope you do too.”
