“This little mountain market is not one you'll likely come across unless you live in this mountainous area or you're staying at one of the resorts located in the area above Lake Lure and it's the only option unless you drive down the mountain. Located only a mile or so from our RV site at Apple Valley Farms. I fueled up the Jeep here before heading out for the day, the pumps are old so there is no "pay at the pump" option but they worked just fine, it was kinda cool the pumps are all metal no plastic parts so there's lots banging and clanging when removing and replacing the nozzle.The interior of the store as you'd expect in such a remote location is filled with a little bit of everything and not a lot of anything with the exception of the wine section, it seemed to be well stocked. The young woman tending the store today was very friendly and full of local knowledge. It's a great place to grab a few items but definitely not a place you'd want to shop for all your needs - it's definitely a niche business so the prices are what they are and it's convenient, it certainly can save you a long drive and save you lots of time...”

“BE ADVISED! They moved up the road, 300 yards in the same complex as the Jeep and ATV rentals but aren’t able to update their Google. I’d hate for tourist to not be able to find their fun juice.”

“We stopped in for a night cap.Late night amd there was a wedding going on so there were not many people in the bar. Our bartender was great and made a delicious long island. We chatted with him and the other bartender about bourbon and moonshine and weddings and the shark sightin at Lake Lure earlier that must have occurred why else would they shut the beach at 6??? Ha haGreat time”

“This place is a must visit while you are in Lake Lure, especially for those traveling with dogs! Every person on staff was incredibly nice, and helpful. It was snowing and freezing cold out and we were able to sit indoors in a heated area and have lunch with our dog! He was even given a frozen pupsicle as a treat! We will definitely be back to grab some souvenirs for sure!”
