The station features a grill serving quick, made-to-order diner food, including cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and a delicious tomato egg sandwich. Guests can enjoy roomy, clean booths and a friendly atmosphere, with staff that is welcoming and helpful. The location also includes other businesses like a strip mall, guns and ammo, and an ABC store, making it a one-stop shop for all needs. Open early at 5 am, it provides a good place for breakfast and snacks, with the added convenience of a pet walk area. Though prices are slightly higher due to its proximity to the lake resort, it remains a popular stop for travelers and locals alike.
Hubs and I stopped here on our way to Texas for a quick bathroom break. The speedy mart has a great selection of snacks and the bathrooms are very clean. The girl at the register was so sweet and I felt very safe and welcome, which is important for a POC woman traveling cross country. Will stop here again on our way back.
