“This ABC store looks like a post office and feels very upscale and classy inside. They had a number of liquors we had not seen before. The prices were a little higher than Alabama prices, but we understand that’s government controlled and not exactly up to the individual store. The staff was quiet as we walked around, but kind as we checked out. They have a fun taxidermy bear inside on display that it’s fun to take pictures with.”

“What a cool sandwich shop/pub. I decided to try something I would not normally try. I tried the Hot Mess sandwich. Yummy ?. Turkey, pickled onions, jalapeños, avocados, potato chips, and a sliver of mayo with pepper. It was served with a hot chili to dip in or put on top. Crazy, but delicious!!!! My husband and son both had the Maverick; one on gluten-free bread. They both loved them. The Liar's Bench really knows how to serve up great sandwiches alongside their great service!!!Dietary restrictions: My son doesn't eat wheat, but that was no worry. They had gluten-free bread.”
