We always have a wonderful stay at Echo Mountain Inn. We always stay in a different room when we stay here. We stayed in the Plum Pretty room. It has a beautiful view of the mountains.which are spectacular, especially the morning sunrise with the fog hanging low on the mountains.
The room was very comfortable, you can sit at the large window that has table and chairs, with a nice glass of wine or cup of coffee and not even think about the outside worlds problems, they just melt away.
The breakfast buffet was wonderful, so many breakfast dishes to choose from. Coffee always hot and plentiful.
We always meet so many people from all over the country. There is such a laid back atmosphere downstairs in the separate sitting areas, that people want to ask you how or what brought you to the Inn.
The staff is friendly and attentive.
Hendersonville is such a interesting little town, which is just at the foot of the mountain. So many good restaurants to eat at. So many shops to browse through.
Always pleased when I leave the Inn.

I stumbled upon Echo Mountain Inn thanks to ChatGPT while searching for a romantic, quiet bed-and-breakfast in the mountains, something peaceful, charming, and still close enough to a town. Now when I tell you my husband and I are selective, I cannot stress this enough! We typically stay in very high-end resorts, so I truly didn’t know how this experience was going to go.
Let me tell you… Echo Mountain Inn did not disappoint!
I’m sitting in my living room right now wishing I were back outside on their rocking chairs, looking up at the stars. The inn is incredibly charming it feels straight out of a dream, especially with the beautiful stonework on the exterior. Inside, it’s decorated so thoughtfully, with love and detail in every corner. Since it was Christmas time, everything had an extra layer of magic.
Now let’s talk about our room!!!
We stayed in the Royal Room, and it was exactly that — royal. The views were absolutely jaw-dropping, mountains in every direction. The bed was super comfortable, everything was clean, and honestly my only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.
Breakfast was delicious, and the dining room itself has a gorgeous view. It’s such a bright, happy room to start your morning in.
Truly, I will cherish our stay, and I cannot wait to come back!

A Dream Wedding Weekend, Thanks to Echo Mountain Inn!
We recently had the absolute pleasure of hosting our wedding reception and accommodating all of our closest friends and family at Echo Mountain Inn, and the experience was nothing short of magical. From the moment we first inquired to the second we checked out as a married couple, the staff was exceptionally kind, friendly, and genuinely hospitable to our entire group.
The fact that the Inn could house our wedding party, our guests, and us (the bride and groom) made the entire weekend feel seamless and intimate. It truly felt like we had a wonderful, charming home base for our celebration. Every single person in our group commented on how welcomed they felt and how the staff went above and beyond to ensure their stay was comfortable and stress-free.
Beyond the incredible service, the Inn itself possesses a wonderful, unique charm. It provided the perfect, cozy backdrop for our reception and photos. We also cannot talk about our stay without mentioning the amazing included breakfast. It was a highlight of every morning, delicious, fresh, and served with so much warmth.
Echo Mountain Inn did not just host our wedding; they became a beautiful, unforgettable part of our story. We highly recommend this beautiful establishment to anyone looking for the perfect blend of charm, hospitality, and comfort. Thank you for making our wedding weekend truly special!

This is an established inn and it has amazing history. Yes rooms are smaller and older but for what we needed it was perfect! They only serve breakfast and coffee in the mornings so we took advantage to rise early and then head out to seek adventures/food in Flat Rock/Hendersonville and Saluda. We would come back here again!

Really like this place. Rooms are old and small. Ok for couples but not great for friends trip. Baths are small.

My wife and I are return customers to the Echo Mtn Inn. I think that says it all as we rarely return to a place on purpose. This place is less than an hour from our home, yet it seems like a thousand miles.
The Echo Mtn Inn is absolutely lovely. If you are looking for modern and sleek, this is not it; but, if you are looking for a respite that is warm, comfy, rustic, and quaint in a setting perched away from the throngs and on top of a mountain in WNC, then this is your jam. Throw in a great breakfast with a view and you too will be smitten and want to return again and again.

Very cute place with a gorgeous view all around. The room wasn't huge but was big enough for two people with suitcases and backpacks. The people working were fantastic all of them very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a normal breakfast buffet style with eggs meat breads fruits and a few other options. There is plenty of board games and other things to do in the main public areas all while taking in the beautiful forest views. The drive up to the location was a windy road that gave great views as well and a look at plenty of local wildlife, we saw a deer and a white squirrel on our drives. The only real negative thing about the experience was a very uncomfortable bed that hit points and often made it hard to get a full night's sleep. Overall we would stay again but hopefully get a better bed.

Older bed and breakfast lnn. Rooms are BEAUTIFUL and charming for a place this old. It is well maintained. Good breakfast. Great people who own it and run it. Close to everything in Hendersonville with a short drive.

Pretty, historic inn. Views are great. Breakfast included that was tasty, the staff working breakfast did a great job taking care of everyone. Showing its age and could use some TLC. We stayed a few years ago and the restaurant was still open and excellent. It's a shame the inn no longer serves dinner, it was nice not to have to wind down the mountain for dinner. Recommend the Royal room for gorgeous mountain views from your bed!
