They often don't have the medications that are up for refills. So you have to wait until they order it which means you're going to be without meds for a few days

Went in to drop off my prescription for pain medication on 8/21 at 10:18am, because I had just gotten my tooth pulled. The Lady at the counter was super nice and said she would put a rush on my prescription without me even asking. My prescription was ready in 10 minutes. Which was great because my pain was really starting to kick in.

I went here on 06/25/2022 between 11:00am and 11:20am. VERY unprofessional pharmacy associates. They need more training on how to behave in the presence of customers. Not one pharmacy associate behind the glass told me good morning, or "how may I help you?" Instead, they laughed at me when they saw me looking for a product. When you're handling prescription drugs, you should be 100% focused on what you're doing, and not laughing and joking. One mistake could cost someone their life, and that's no laughing matter. They're working for a multi-billion dollar company with high profile stakeholders. This is not what they invested their money in. Make every associate behind the glass retake their customer service pathways. This is unacceptable.

Switched to Wal-Mart, Laurinburg, NC upon my retirement due low cost platform. Transfer from existing Px went smoothly. Successfully arranged for both spouse & my prescriptions to be filled on same date to facilitate once-per-month trip = 30 mile round trip to location. All went well for a while. Recently, filling dates became mis-matched. The effort to correct has been a joke from Wal-Mart end. First commitment late Aug from Px to fix the problem was made by phone after detail conversation on needs. Follow up check revealed no notes in Wal-Mart file. 2nd effort entailed spouse on site discussion on Sept 5 & another commitment by Px to call Drs offices & co-ordinate filling. Follow up call on Sept 17 revealed no action but commitment to execute plan devised on wife's visit Sept 5. Check up call on Sept 25 revealed no action on action plan. Yet another conversation detailing needs garnered another commitment to execute as agreed. 6th contact took place via phone on Oct 1. Wal-Mart rep said no results & no notes that any action to contact Dr offices evident in file. At that point, I took direct action by contacting Drs for refill action. Action ensued from Drs end = call that prescriptions were submitted. I called Wal-Mart to confirm. Rep confirmed wife's done & 2 of 3 of mine complete. No clue what happened to my 3rd med which comes from same Dr. Called Dr again = record showed all meds sent to Px. Will send again. In one of today's call to Wal-Mart, rep explained that if computer generated call to Dr office misses connection, no way to tell so, thus many times meds contunue as open orders. In summary, 6 phone calls & 1 on site visit to co-ordinte single fill date on husband/ wife prescript fills. Commitments on Wal-Mart part fell woefully short of expectations. WM is low priced but service stinks in this saga !!
